It's really no surprise to learn that Angelina Jolie carefully crafts her image through photo and journalistic deals with magazines.
And while other celebrities may employ a team of publicists to handle their images, Jolie works alone with her manager, Geyer Kosinski, relying on her intelligence, instinct, and luck.
Sometimes she asks Brad what he thinks, but mostly he's seen and not heard.
She knows her selling power, partly because she's the one who invented her profitable image, and so she can bargain with magazines.
Anonymous insiders of People magazine's $14 million deal with Angie concerning photos of her new twins with Brad say that in addition to the photos, the couple asked to review an "editorial plan." The magazine was required to refrain from publishing anything negative, use of the nickname "Brangelina" (They hate it), and to highlight their philanthropic work.
The resulting publication was the mag's best selling in 7 years.

Good for her, she's done a great job. I'm not buying the entire thing about shifting focus, it's not easy to shift people's focus from having an affair with a married man! I do believe she truly enjoys the humanitarian work she's involved in and giving money to the under priviliged in the world and there probably is a certain amount of control and manipulation to her advantage when needed, but don't we all???
