Canada, for one, is willing to treat the oft-discriminated big boys and gals like regular folks.
Just yesterday, the Supreme Court of Canada ruled that obese people will have the right to use two seats for the price of one on all flights within Canada.
And the decision will stay!
The court declined to even hear an appeal by the Canadian Transportation Agency.
The Canadian airlines had originally lost an appeal, launched by Air Canada, Air Canada Jazz and WestJet, back in May at the Federal Court of Appeal.
The airlines were seeking to get a new appeal with the Supreme Court but they got denied.
Instead, it was ruled that people who are "functionally disabled by obesity" deserve to have two seats for the price of one fare.
Wonder if the U.S. will do the same?

This is not fair unless they can show proof that they've been diagnosed with a condition that causes their weight. In that instance, their size is out of their control. Otherwise their decision is completely ridiculous
