Twilight Sequel Gets the Green Light!

Twilight fanatics got a very special email from book author Stephanie Meyer and film star Robert Pattinson today, Saturday. They announced that the movie studio wants to move forward with a follow-up to the Twilight flick, which experts say will definitely be this weekend's #1 movie!

Re: cocolarue – They actually died Nikki Reeds hair blonde… It wasnt a hair piece, which is why you saw roots in some scenes (like the kitchen scene) and Yeah Jaspers hair was a little crazy but he played the part so well. I loved him.
Re: Amour7287 – Well my friend, first off I would LOVE to boycott Kristen for ruining this movie. Not only were her giant nostrils distracting, but she is just not a loving character.. She is way better for violet movies. I will admit, the bedroom scene was hot, but Rob can make any almost sex scene hot I am sure.
NOW what I meant was, where was this article found? Because it was signed "Kristen and Rob" at the end, but it isn't like they have a Myspace or another page together. So someone either put both their names on this without them knowing it or something is up. Because I will admit I have watched a few too many interviews with Rob, but he admits that him and Kristen didn't really get along. He found her really intimidating and kept his distance when they weren't filming! Not to mention, that bedroom scene was not even practiced! And only took one take. Insane eh? But now I question where Perez found this post, because I highly doubt they wrote it together…

I'm glad they've moved on with the second one…. its not THAT big of a deal that robert isnt in a whole lot of the movie, that's the point of the story line… bella becomes close with jacob… plus we get to know the cullen family better. I think each movie will be better than the previous one
ps… they'll have a bigger budget too..which means better special effect

AH YES!!! I think it will be amazing! I loved New Moon! TEAM JACOB lol. I think it will be like a really good opposite of Twilight, but they really can't leave out the important parts like they did for Twilight. Can't wait for Eclipse though!

This is so the start of something new for us ! im supa exctied for NM only because Rob said it's his favroite book and I get to to see the cast again loved the movie saw it twice because i have no life lol
yess. I really wanted them to make a sequel. the books are realllllly good. I'm just hoping they make the movie longer, and that they dont use the first 6 chapters in the first 5 mins in the movie like twilight.

You guys went to see a movie, you didn't pass a major law, you didn't save the rain forest, you supported a movie.
I'm not a twilight hater, I liked the books, as mediocre as they were, and the movie was decent, but believe me its not the huge accomplishment you think it is. I really don't think there was a group of people trying to stop anyone from seeing the movie. seriously get a fucking life.

hope they do a better (MUCH better) job at keeping true to the book than they bothered with the first one. As they seem to state their awareness of how special the series is to its readers.. you'd think they would have tried a little harder to follow it better and not dumb it/water it down for people who couldn't bother to read.

Yeah I'm not surprised. She is really intimidating and just MEAN!! He seems so cool and sweet in real life whereas she is just a total bitch. I'm not surprised at all that they didn't get along. Yeah her nostrils WERE annoying! lol! and did you notice that she wouldn't stop blinking???? Doing the bedroom scene with him in ONE take???!?! I mean I am sure it would be possible. He would be SO easy to do that with. Except I would keep messing up on purpose so we would have to do it again… and again… and again. lol!

Oh my goodness. New moon was my fave. I can't wait. I loved twilight I thought it was awesome seeing all the characters I loved in the books come to life like that. Especially edward and jacob. Cant wait to see how Jacob plays out in the next one

Re: NiceGirlsFakeIt – Ahaha so truen. Well actually just Kristen was terrible everyone else was pretty spot on…although it was hard not to laugh at the hissing and growling in the fight scenes. Sometimes Rob's face looked a little silly.One good thing about Kristen's acting is that it gave me hope. If she can get a part in these movies I'll just go take a few acting lessons and try to snag a part as leah haha. Despite her sucking I can't help but watch it over and over, good thing I work at a theater.

And their chemistry did not even exist. Kristen probably only begged for him to be in the movie so she could attempt to leave her boyfriend for him and based on their interviews togethr it's unfortunate that it probably worked. EW.
Re: Sharada – I'm not sure that I know what you're talking about. Her performance in every movie is the exact same. And I'm sorry but the girl can't act. Her sad excuse for sad/angry/painful emotions is this really bad twitch where she blinks her eyes a lot. It's terrible and anyone who's seen the movie you have to know what I'm talking about. Her emotions are legit the same no matter what's going on. Whether she's happy or sad or confused you're still going to get that twitch,the open mouth stare…can we audition someone else for her part next movie please?

im love the idea of new moon! I know twilight wasnt what everyone expected, but it was still awesome!!!!!! please take iget nto consideration that the movie budget was only 37 million. in the movie industy thats hardly nuthin. since summit realizes what a big deal twilight is new moon will be very much better, even though twilight was wonderful. the actors were great for there roles and did an amazing job. i hope all the actors will do new moon. please dont think twilight was bad. its not its fault the budget was so low. ive read all the books and realize the difference between the twilight movie and the book, but it was wonderful just the same. please take this into your unjust thoughts when you are cursing twilight to the firy uderworld with hades. twilight was wonderful, so just deal with it. GO TEAM EDWARD!!!
Of course! I actually loved Twilight (not as good as the book but, still awesome!) . A little rushed and weird in the first half but, after that it was amazing! I love how they just left it open like somehow they knew there would be a second movie hmmm…

Ok I don't know what most of you are talking about…I actually liked Kristen Stewart's acting more than R. Patz…don't get me wrong, I love me some Edward Cullen, but were you all watching that movie with your eyes closed? It was GOD AWFUL! Bad acting, bad effects, bad everything!
