The American Music Awards was alright. Christina's performance was okay, Ne-yo did a lovely job I enjoyed it. Mariah Carey sounded nice, Leona Lewis sounded nice, Pink looked beautiful, Rihanna sounded Terrible, I used to be a fan of hers but she's starting to fade away. Kanye I loved, Alicia Keys performance with Queen Latifah and the opera lady was nice. Jonas Brothas is so overrated I don't care too much about them , Taylor Swift I wanted to give her a tissue- poor thing. Miley Cyrus makes me laugh but I like her song. Beyonce I loved it. Jimmy Kimmel was corny I don't find him to be that funny. Overrall it was alright it wasn't nothing I can brag about the next day. The sound was messed up though.

The winners were extremely predictable, however, I'm really glad that both Taylor and The Jonas Brothers won! They all work so hard and they deserve it. AMA's were hot tonight! DIVAS LIVES lol Christina showed why people liekd her int he frist place with ehr natural talent, focusing on that voice. Quite humble for her to do the old version of "Genie". Pink was like Janis Joplin with glam all over her body. I'm so glad Mariah chose SPANX, and a puch-up bra, and 30 year old woman's gown to perform. Mimi looked impatinet int he beginning, but did awesome later in the song. Miley had one of the best productions of the night! Her peorformance was her best ever! With her birthday happenign that night, her bf, "Bolt" high on the box - office, "Breakout" re-release, and that stellar Disney bday, it was quite easy for her to have the drive and happiness to deliver an amazing performance. Alot of painful feelings brought Taylor Swift to perform a heart breaking sad tearful and depressive version of "White Horse". Watching that performance makes me want to teepee Joe Jonas's house. Speaking of Joe Bros. Pretty good performance but everytime I look at Joe I think: heartbreaker, player, typical rockstar player. But Jo Bros delivered a Duran Duran lazor like performance. You can tell they want to mature more ont he next album. And hearing the puberty coming out of Nick's voice I can see why. BEyonce had such a fierce beginning with that silouhette shadow walk. FIERCE SASHA FIERCE! The AMA's was so good any awards show scheduled after this one has alot of pressure. Because this one was not only fierce. It was SASHA FIERCE!

Leona kicked Mariah's ass! Whatever happened to Mariah's beautiful voice? ALicia kicked butt, and so did Sarah and Pink. Fray was awesome, and I can't believe I'm admitting this, but Miley performance was excellent.
No actually i believe ALL the mic's were off last night. I wish they would just HIRE ME to do the sound because even myself who knows NOTHING about sound could have figured out that the MIC'S WERE SOOO OFFF! ITS A MUSIC SHOW GET IT TOGETHER ABC!

good show! Lots of impressive performances. the sound was "off" most of the night, either there was something wrong in the theatre or with the broadcast, but there were definitely times when you could hear the singers over the background bands, etc.
NKOTB sounded like shit, Mariah really sang, PINK kicked ass twice!, Miley was super slutty, Leona Lewis looked old, Jonas Brothers stunk up the whole place, Rihanna was boring but hot, Coldplay was gimmicky with the butterflies and Chris Brown walked away with it ALL
I can't believe i haven't seen any comments about taylor swift lip synching…i played my itunes song at the same time she was singing and it was EXACTLY the same…she did an absolute awful job all around i thought and i love her normally. don't agree to perform if your going to do that girl
The winners were extremely predictable, however, I'm really glad that both Taylor and The Jonas Brothers won! They all work so hard and they deserve it. I thought it was pretty funny when Taylor yelled the line in her song about finding someone some day that will actually treat her well. Soo directed at Joe!

AMA's were hot tonight! DIVAS LIVES lol Christina showed why people liekd her int he frist place with ehr natural talent, focusing on that voice. Quite humble for her to do the old version of "Genie". Pink was like Janis Joplin with glam all over her body. I'm so glad Mariah chose SPANX, and a puch-up bra, and 30 year old woman's gown to perform. Mimi looked impatinet int he beginning, but did awesome later in the song. Miley had one of the best productions of the night! Her peorformance was her best ever! With her birthday happenign that night, her bf, "Bolt" high on the box - office, "Breakout" re-release, and that stellar Disney bday, it was quite easy for her to have the drive and happiness to deliver an amazing performance. Alot of painful feelings brought Taylor Swift to perform a heart breaking sad tearful and depressive version of "White Horse". Watching that performance makes me want to teepee Joe Jonas's house. Speaking of Joe Bros. Pretty good performance but everytime I look at Joe I think: heartbreaker, player, typical rockstar player. But Jo Bros delivered a Duran Duran lazor like performance. You can tell they want to mature more ont he next album. And hearing the puberty coming out of Nick's voice I can see why. BEyonce had such a fierce beginning with that silouhette shadow walk. FIERCE SASHA FIERCE! The AMA's was so good any awards show scheduled after this one has alot of pressure. Because this one was not only fierce. It was SASHA FIERCE!
Yes and other than Pink's performance and the amazing Annie Lennox, the show sucked ass!! I thought I was watching the damn MTV Video Music or Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, with all the teeny bopper crap!!! Call me bitter because once again Pink was not recognized for her amazing talent, but the AMAs was pretty much a waste of time!

I am so glad that someone else noticed that Taylor Swift was cutting eyes and pointing at Joe Jonas like the whole time. It even looked like one time she was about to loose it and just go to crying all over that stage. I just wish I could have seen Joe Jonas face while she was singing I wonder if he was looking at her or what. But Miley was really bad that song is stupid but thats all I have to say.
