she is lame and her music sucks and she isn't hot and her hair is weird and she's kind of fat and washed up. she'll never be britney obviously bc she's sold 1/12 the amount of albums as britney and sucks at dancing and no one really cares about her anymore she's an old washed up hag with a weird voice live that has hideous hair and style. she will not be around forever like britney or madonna. her voice isnt the same either. she all around sucks.
maybe just that you don't like her because you're trying to promote some other "pet" artist…ahem…lady gaga (Whoever that is) so now you're just making things up to make her look bad.
You are so lame nowadays, it is SO sad.

I agree, she usually has an amazing voice but it just seemed like something was going on (sick/bad sound system/whatever).
I don't think she did a horrible job. I think her performance was rushed and the timing was awful. She looked like she was trying to get the vocals out as loud and hard as she could and it seem like she was tired. She did the best she could do.
Alot of times a womans voice can change during pregnancy and sometimes it doesn't change back..on top of that, she usually sings so slow and the new songs seem much faster. I just don't think she can pull them off live. She sounded ok. She is still amazingly talented.

Well first she should just stand there not try to dance all around and shit because it's obviously not doing anything for her… and what happened to those giant breast implants she had… and i don't want to hear she just had ababy because if you thnik she does not have implants you are stupid and you have never seen her 'The Voice within' video

christina has been rocking the platinum hair since she started, and has more vocal talent even on her worst night than lady gaga could ever hope to achieve (even with all her electronic voice correction).
lady gaga is throw away dance music, that's hot today and trash tomorrow. we'll see a clip from "Just Dance" on a club compilation CD commercial in 5 years and vaguely remember her.
Christina has already proven herself as one of the greatest voices of our generation, she just had a bad night.
i thought she did good! but yeah the mics seemed off for everyone,so people looked like they werent singing at all and had their backups singing more than they did and sometimes the mic would echo and just didnt sound good

I watched the show last night and even though it wasn't her best performance, she did great and most importat she sang live…do you hear me Mariah? And for the people who are comparing Miss Aguilera with Lady whatever please give me a break!!! There's no comparison P.E.R.I.O.D. Christina is a real artist, with real talent and an awesome voice, LG is just a studio product. In a few years nobody is going to remember her. I love you Christina, you are the best! You take chances with your music and there's no need for scandals to shine. Get a grip Perez!!!

She's trying too hard…this performance reminds me of Jessica Simpson during that duet with Jewel when they sang "Who Will Save Your Soul."
Even "a little Off" she still sounds better live than most. She's proably sick of singing the same songs over and over!

I mean, she's hot, she's vastly proven she could do the show and her last album proved to anyone who still doubted she had talent that she had an amazing voice, true creativity and musical culture.
In this vid she sounds a bit "underpowered" (hey Tintin' you gave us better performances…) + the music arrangements are "album carbon copies". She could certainly have done better. Hey, maybe she's got other stuff to deal with at the moment to take time to really put more work in guest appearances. We all have our moments.
Hope she rocks more next time.

Christina is goood for a live show. But last night. She was a train wreck. She looked like she was so uncomfortable. She looked so lost. I hate that she lip synched part of the performance. Had to wear a girlde as well. She was dancing like a fish outta water as well.

Her voice was a little manly.
She's singing from her throat, not her diaphragm, making her performance sound like something out of a high school glee club performance rather than the AMA's.
Lipsyncing was off in the second song.
I hate lipsyncing with a passion. I think she should just be herself and not try to be the second coming of Madonna.

I feel as though the Engineer overly compressed her vocals . . . combined with the acoustics of the venue that could leave her voice sounding a little bit off; however, her range was still remarkable and should be celebrated. Also, she changed her songs up a little…of course they are going to sound different.

Her performance was very very boring. Her voice was fine actually, but boring…I really don't think her songs are that darn good…they could have let someone else open the show. She didn't need to perform at all.

Nerves?? I don't think that was it….I do think that she was probably sick….He high notes are usually some of her best, she just did not bring it like she usally does, Give the girl props for singing live but last night was not good for her…you would have to be tone deaf to think it was good…
First off, I think she looked more Christina than Lady Gaga this time — maybe she has taken the hint that people feel she's copying. But I also think that we should cut her some slack. She took time off to have a baby, which is great for her, and the voice — like any muscle — needs to be exercised a lot to sound perfect. I am sure she just doesn't have the time of energy anymore to practice as much as before. Look at people like Aretha or Tina (or hell, Mariah Carey)…the are all very talented women who over time just don't sound AS amazing as they once did. The moments Christina lip synched were obvious and awkward, but when she sang live (95% of the 6:27 performance which also included dance and costume changes!!!) she sounds better than 98% of the pop stars out there today, yesterday, and most likely tomorrow.
Motherhood is catching up with her! poor girl needs rest.
Well, no one can deny Christina has one hell of a voice, but I do agree she sounds hoarse here. That's too bad, but I'll forgive her!
When I saw her doing her red carpet interview, I knew something wasn't quite right. She needs take lessons from Madonna on reinventing herself.

It wasn't that bad and everyones vocals were off last night. Every last one of them sounded horrible up until the last few performances like Alicia Keys, Sarah McLachlan and Kanye. I was wondering why the hell they did't figure out the sounds were off.

The Jonai don't do much for me but at least they play their own instruments and seem to be nice guys. I'd let my kids watch them.
I don't know if it was just the way people recorded it for YT but the sound was wonky on all the performances. It was all background and you couldn't really hear the main singers.
