Re: jackie kay – My apologies! I probably came off sounding a bit pretentious myself. I totally forgot that Pink did a collaboration in Lady Marmalade. Yeahhh she's def. wading in her pool full of millions of dollars laughing at us right now. I feel like a jerk because yes I made an assumption based on one band I saw and recognized (Distillers) although I am slightly familiar with a few of the other ones you mentioned.
And someone mentioned Radiohead, now although they are not at all underrated they do make some sick music and videos.

i totally agree with Perez on this one - the video is brilliant! a lot of people are making quick judgements. read the lyrics. watch the video more than once. it's a beautiful piece to support the emotions behind the song. try watching it with a mature mindframe, and you definitely won't come to the conclusion pink is 'f-kin herself' or label it a 'lesbian scene' .. it's not a video to take out of context, but to watch as you would a movie that flows as she reflects on herself past and present .. PINK deserves video of the year!

Wow. This reminds me of the video's in years gone by that used to be produced for MTV's audience — when the music video used to sell the song. While she's not a great actress, she does get her point across — and the changing in her styles simply shows how she's grown. She's like a mini-Madonna, she's just never truly gotten recognized for her talents in a field crowded with Mimi, Christina, Britney, and others of her genre. You go girl!
