The dance was MADE for the song. Soulja Boy has his Superman dance, Britney Spears had her "Slave For You" dance that she performed MANY many times. Beyonce obviously wants this dance to catch on so other people mimic it in clubs and stuff. I like it, actually.

Actually Perez, this is a dance specifically for this song. It's kind of like the Soulja Boy dance or the Thriller dance.
That routine has already gone down in the history books as one of the best of this year, and it is forever linked with that song. The song isn't old yet, so we should appreciate it for what it is- a modern classic. Everyone loves it; it is very entertaining.

That's a bit tough, Perez. It was really cool to see this dance performed live. Normally you only get to see the video, which is edited and perfect, so was really amazing to see her do it for real. She was actually really amazing - and to not lose her breath while singing at the same time was pretty impressive!
