Al Qaeda sucks major ass!
According to new reports, federal authorities have issued a warning of a possible Al Qaeda-orchestrated terror plot against New York City subway and other transit systems during the holidays.
An internal FBI memo described the threat as "plausible but unsubstantiated."
Although NY seems to be the terrorists' only target, authorities say commuters in other big cities could see security tighten as well.
The gov's report states that in late September, Al Qaeda may have talked about attacking transit systems in and around New York City during the holiday season:
"These discussions reportedly involved the use of suicide bombers or explosives placed on subway/passenger rail systems."
Stay safe y'all, and if you see anything 'off' speak up and alert the cops or attendants at the station!
welll I think being a new yorker and being in the 911 attack (I was at BMCC), I thank perez for this piece of information, it does explain why I saw 2 k-9 police dogs on the A train today and why they were doing bag searches on my train station. As for those who think we "forgot" about 911, that is a foolish thing to say, especially for those who weren't even in nyc, we remember 911, we remember seeing that huge cloud of smoke all the way from queens. We didn't forget but we learned to adapt to the situation we live in. I don't know about anyone else, but for myself I still get jumpy when I see someone with a huge package and they seem nervous, I've become more aware of my surrounding. okay thats all I have to say…Happy Thanksgiving =)

Have you seen the news from India today? Islamist terrorists have struck at the top hotels, rampant shootings at a train station, restaurants and a jewish place all in one city! Over 100 people killed and 314 injured. And some dumb people believe in conspiracy theories and silly stupid stuff because it isn't their mother or father or sister or brother that has been killed. Sigh - I guess that will be the first campaign promise Obama breaks - to negotiate with the enemies. You cannot.

I have family there and can assure you..there was very little help available for those who couldnt afford to evcuate on their own.
