Britney Makes Her Performance "Comeback"

She didn't suck!
She wasn't great, but she wasn't embarrassing.
And, considering the fact that we think she was pushed into releasing this album too quickly, she was amazing! Just remember where she was only 9 months ago.
The re-arrangement of Womanizer was hot, but we definitely feel like the Britster was nervous.
She was VERY stiff towards the beginning but definitely loosened up for the last 30-45 seconds.
We don't mind the lipsynching - it's Britney! - but we think there wasn't enough dancing. She walked around a lot, which reminded us too much of that disastrous VMA performance in 2007.
But, overall, it's nothing to be ashamed off and hopefully she'll get better as she does a few more of these!

I'm over her..it's the same dancing, same moves, same look, same music…I mean good for her for turning her life around and all, but she should stay home and raise her children for a bit and try and live a normal life for a bit..she still has issues she needs to work out…thank God for her father for stepping in or she wouldn't be where she is today.
Did she have an agreement to keep most of the camera panned out the way it was? You could barely keep track of her! At least her walking around had a purpose this time. All in all, not bad!

she was singing live, she was singing with a guide track.. almost everyone does it now.. even your fave asshead, lady gaga. the guide tracks play all the shittyass autotune thats saturated on their horrible ass pop albums :] but ive always supported britney, shes the ultimate pop star.

overall it wasn't a bad performance. i dont think she was lipsyncing though. you can hear her voice go in & out when she sang. the backup vocals are a tad bit loud or maybe she should just sing a bit louder.. or else ppl are gonna think its all lipsyncing

OMG perez are you for real? This performance was horrendous. About as bad as her VMA performance. In fact some of the moves looked right out of that. Lipsynching, as usual, but hardly dancing. Maybe it's time for Britney to consider stopping. She can't keep up anymore with the Christina's and Beyonce's. In fact she actually made Christina look like a great dancer.

Perez stop giving this fugly lip syncer free publicity. I thought you stopped blogging about her and other BMG artists (Beyonce, Usher or is it because they are black and not a nice blond manufactured package?) I thought you were going to focus your attention on talented artists. Lady Gaga's album is a lot better than hers. Gaga sings a lot better than her too. Brit Brit still look fugly from shaving her head. She has a weird shaped head. Her face looks different. Maybe its from all the meds she's on.
instead of lip synching, artists are now edited live using a program called AUTO TUNE. this adjusts the pitch of the singer's voice and essentially changes the voice to make it sound more acceptable. so she may have been live, but still needed a lot of enhancement from voice changers…her voice sounds so computerized. i am not loving her performance…someone said it earlier, she is cashing in on all the idiots out there.

NO, I wasn't feeling it, but I do commend britney on trying I give it a C-but she was singing Even though it was with a track and not back up singing and as for all the people who are criticizing Brit saying it was the best and it sucked. It was both I don't think saying false things is gonna help her get to her point and what she needs is honesty and support, no she is not one of the best singers but was one of the best performers and I do hope that she get to that point and" Mayday parade" is right about listening to bands that aren't main stream . It takes a real person to look for their music and not have it dancing in your face . Other artist who make music for music and not for money. I dont throw my money in the trash by purchasing Beyonce, Rihanna, or Britney's music; on the other hand, I invest my money on Christina's music! I love Christina & Alicia K.! She is super talented, has an amazing, non-fabricated, voice and is also an amazing songwriter. her music carries a meaning behind it that many can relate to while Britney's is just bubble gum pop! Xtinas music is for mature individuals while Britney is for teens.
I feel bad for everything she's gone through but her drama doesnt compare to the drama most people in this country/world have gone through or are experiencing. people feel the need to put her on a pedestal after this performance, on the other hand, you have people that are dying of starvation, in war, people losing their mortgages. Playback??! Huns, she was simply humming along to the entire track being played over her own non-existent voice. Her mic was on, but she was just talking her way through it. Playback is when you have your vocals upfront, and you recorded vocals back you up. This was her song and recorded vocals up front, while her actual voice was in the background. SHE'S HORRIBLE!

Then people like Britney Spears, put out albums where their vocals are completely re-worked, their songs are written for them, and they have to lip sync live, yet they're the ones who make the big money and get a tour bus. The music world is so backwards. Britney's last album was a huge bomb, but she still won all those awards for it, apparently the music world must applaud below par records, yay for mediocrity!

Not a WOW performance but I didn't expect that - not yet. I'm glad she's doing this small european promo tour, it's a good chance for her to warm up and get back into performing after 4 long years.

Loved the mix and appreciated the dance break. I wished the cameras showed more of Britney up close. I think she's aiming to find a balance between dancing and singing along live- which makes me so freaking excited!!
