Britney Makes Her Performance "Comeback"

She didn't suck!
She wasn't great, but she wasn't embarrassing.
And, considering the fact that we think she was pushed into releasing this album too quickly, she was amazing! Just remember where she was only 9 months ago.
The re-arrangement of Womanizer was hot, but we definitely feel like the Britster was nervous.
She was VERY stiff towards the beginning but definitely loosened up for the last 30-45 seconds.
We don't mind the lipsynching - it's Britney! - but we think there wasn't enough dancing. She walked around a lot, which reminded us too much of that disastrous VMA performance in 2007.
But, overall, it's nothing to be ashamed off and hopefully she'll get better as she does a few more of these!

That was a bit stiff. She needs more crack so she can loosen up. Who has noticed her chubby legs on the Womanizer music video?. The guys forgot to use technology on her legs, they only hid her stomach. I can't wait for Britney to give us more "good" times.Unleash her and we'll enjoy!
First Britney was a hasbeen.

Now she's back. To being a hasbeen.
She's a performer, but not a singer - sigh. Gimmie class Tina Turner any day - now that's singing - and it's LIVE singing - not pre-recorded stuff and pitch corrected/processed stuff.
I miss actual "LIVE" performances.

ya know, for some reason i thought it sounded like she was in fact singing over the track. But maybe that's just me. Overall, it was a so so performance but not embarassing. More dancing next time!! i mean, she dances a lot in the video, why not on stage?

I think her Circus Album will sell well. I love "Womanizer", "Circus", "If You Seek Amy" and "Mannequin" (which sounds a little Madonna-like).

She was hardly live you could only really hear her in the end - but Britney has been lipping since 2001 but when you aren't dancing either that's ridiculous. She's just getting back in the swing of things though hopefully by her GMA performance she can kill it. She looked adorable.
She's a mediocre dancer at best… everything is so over-choreographed, and she moves like she's counting out her routine… nothing funky, original, or spontaneous about her!! Always THE SAME!!! But "Circus" is a really good album…

Nothing to be ashamed of?! Are you KIDDING me?! Every time a performer lip synchs at a show, he/she needs to be VERY ashamed. Even more disturbing is when someone is lip synching and not at least making up for it by dancing their ass off or working the crowd. Whyyyyyyyyyyyyy is this girl allowed to keep making music? Britney Spears is to music what George Bush has been to this country the past 8 years.
By the way, it should be noted that Christina Aguilera (whom Perez constantly accuses of stealing looks from Lada "No-Talent" Gaga) had a mild circus theme to her last album and tour. Curiously, Britney is attempting the same thing after Christina's rave reviews. Unfortunately for Britney, Christina's reviews were due to her incredible LIVE SINGING, stage presence, and quality of music.

i think that Britney did a very good job, considering her attitude as of late. in all reality, the girl was always a performer, not a singer, and she lived up to my expectations in this case. obviously, i could have done for some more dancing on her part, but i'll also give her the fact that she hasn't performed in about a year, and she hasn't performed well in longer than that and still managed to put on a better show than half of the new crop of talent (i.e. katy perry or rihanna (live) in my opinion). i mean, Britney is being forced back into the spotlight and she is doing it as gracefully as possible. she looks pretty hotttt as well. brava!

Alright, seriously. Why is everyone like "Omg, yay Britney! Britney's
back! Omg that was really like, good! Good job Britney! Like zomg Britney rocked it!!" Are you
fucking kidding me? That was a terrible performance. All she did was
walk around the stage, and she sure as hell wasn't singing live. So what
exactly did she do for that to even be considered a performance? Oh.
I don't know. Maybe, hmm… walk around the stage while raising her
arms and doing a couple twists and turns speradicly? Fuck that shit.
Terrible, terrible, terrible. The only thing that makes this better then the
VMA "performance" in 07 would be the fact that she doesn't seem AS
out of it as she did then. However, people are giving her to much credit
for something that isn't even good.
This is coming from someone who DOES enjoy some of her music, so I'm
not a britney-"hater" or whatever else. I'm just being honest and stating
the obvious here, I mean come the fuck ON.

Looks fine - but…this train has left the station. Over. She'll never recapture what she once was - her audience has grown up - moved on and no matter how she tries for a comeback - her star has dimmed - people have just lost interest. She was never talented vocally, just a pole dance who lip syncs - and yes, it doesn't work on a 26 year old. Cyrus is the new Britney - so hon, your no better than the Ol' Vadge now - doing greatest hit shows to a bunches of gay men. Yawn. Big Yawn.

i dont undestand something…. she NEVER COULD SING ever ever, she could just work a stage… it was just a natural quality… HOW HOW HOW do you lose that? like after years of hitting rock bottom and you finally make a comeback and you FORGET HOW TO DANCE AND WORK THE STAGE???? i just dont get it
