Ok, can't performers just "sing" the song, do they have to like fuck the song, what the hell. Its a note, you sing it and move on, the "trails" get so annoying….Christina does it, Mariah does it, all these "vocalists" do it….and it gets so hackneyed its not even funny. Why do people say Christina over sings? Is it because unlike many pop artists today she can..you know sing? She has amazing range she can go high as much as she can go low. Love her voice, absolutely amazing. Don't know why people compare and categorize her with Britney or Lady Gaga…They should be comparing her to Whitney Houston (pre-crack), Mariah Carey, or Leona Lewis.

I disagree with the comments about taking out the runs in her singing. The runs and embellishments are completely appropriate for the type of performance she was giving. The runs and embellishments are what truly *showcase* her amazing vocal talent and range, and are what emphasize that she is not lipsynching.

All those who put her down for "overdoing" the song are simply upset that they can't do the same. I would rather have a song overdone in an excellent way than be cheated out of a performance like when Britney took the stage in Germany. CHRISTINA ROCKS forever cause talent and class always shows.

This is oversinging/mellismo at it's worst! She has a great voice - so just SING THE SONG and include the melody line…….all that embellishment is supposed to build on the song as emotional expression…here it is just annoying and distracting from the song's meaning. Very disappointing.
