It looks like Britney Spears' cracks haven't been totally repaired… and it's starting to show.
We've said it before. We think Brit was pressured to get her newest album out too soon!
And, the promotion that goes along with a new release might be just a little too much for the girl to handle.

A ton of London-based Perezcious readers reached out to report that the pop princess ditched out on a heavily promoted and hyped appearance/performance at the capital's Heaven club on Saturday.
Ruth from Londontown wrote this account:
Just wanted to let you know that after much hype London now HATES Britney Spears.
I just came back from G-A-Y at Heaven where she was supposedly performing. A friend and I were right at the front and saw Larry Rudolph come out twice to survey the crowd. There was a large space cleared then a guy got on stage and told us all that Britney was in the building but she wasn't coming out. Everyone was booing and pushing, dozens of people passed out it was mayhem. I myself got injured quite badly in the madness of it all. Eventually everyone realised she wasn't coming out and after probing and security guard for info he said she was in the bar next door having and drink and she won't be coming on stage. Everyone left at this point cursing her name. She has certainly lost a few friends!
Another club goer, Sebastian, emailed to tell us, "…even though she was there she wouldn't come on stage. Another slap in the face for Europe!!! They just blamed the audience for pushing too much…hundreds of people in London and Europe are very disappointed that she let us down once again after we were standing behind her while she was unwell."
Team BritBrit better add more European dates to her tour next year to make up for the London debacle.
We feel your pain, London.
It sucks that you guys made the effort to go out and support B.S. only to get dissed, but look at it in this way.
You probably would've seen the exact same thing y'all saw on X Factor. Her U.K. TV performance was basically the exact same thing she did in Germany and France.
There's no reason to think that she would've done something different for everyone at Heaven, right?
Let's hope that her people will learn from the London club snub.
Don't trot Brit out and promise shiz until y'all know for sure that she can give us the old, pre-breakdown, kick ass dance routines Britney!
Update: After the disaster above, Britney was escorted to a V-VIP area of the club, where she wasn't seen by many of the thousands that showed up. She waved to some fans, cut a birthday cake and left - all the while, thousands of angry Londoners were very upset with the club and the Spears camp for the debacle.

okay you're making this sound worse than it was. Of course she wasn't gonna peform on stage when already the front was getting crushed and a couple people had been passed out and had to be taken out of the crowd and at one point the person that was there that i was reading this from, couldn't even breathe. Now seriously how safe is that? and if she came down on stage it would've been a lot more crazy. It's not that she ditched them, the club should've only allowed a certain amount of people in the club for everyones safety.
you know something, I read a bunch of the message boards for the clubs and it sounds like the people running the thing are responsible. She showed up, she didn't look fucked up or anything.. It sounds like a simple case of making a decision to prevent further chaos. I'd be surprised if she (well, her people) didn't make a statement and then offer something to smooth things over.

I was at the club with Brit Brit last night - I helped her blow out the candles too! Speaking of blow - we were doing some hectic lines of A-grade coke in the toilets just before the cake came out! Do you know that Britney actually had her septum re-inforced with titanium so she can hoover white powder like a pro? We were also hitting some Jack Daniels and talking all kinds of girl stuff! Well, I'm gay and I know one thing for sure. You turn on us, we turn on you. Britney will be no one. We are all that she had left.
If you read the accounts, it is CLEAR that people are more angry at the management of the club for letting WAAAY too many people in there to the point that it was unsafe for Brit to perform.
She did the right thing. She has to look out for her safety and the safety of others, and it's totally the club owner's fault for not managing that crowd better.

Right ok so the reason that Britney didnt come on stage is purely cos of health and safety reasons. It was a complete shambles. I was right at the front and against the wall and before even Jeremy (the owner of G-A-Y) had come on stage the people from the bar and the arches were pushing to get in and I was physically crushed to the point that if my legs gave way I would have been trampled! Just imagine what would have happened if she had taken the stage cos I am 100% sure people would have died. I managed to get into the room with her eventually but that was cos when security let people onto the stage (that was to ease the crowd NOT to get into the room) that again was a shambles. As I was to the side I was right by the door and it seemed the whole capacity of the club was trying to get onto the stage and I was so severly crushed I felt I was going to collapse, I was in tears. I honestly have never felt so scared for my life. They then let in a few people again cos of health & safety. I proceeded to collapse in the room - it was awful. I did feel better after a bit and did get to see Britney which I am so happy about as I love her but I did risk my life doing it! Jeremy needs to explain that it was blatantly health & safety y she didnt come to the stage. It wasnt her fault so people need to stop attacking her.

when britney first became famous she was supposed to come to a mall in my city to sign autographs and stuff at 9 am. so i woke up at 5 am and went to the mall (and still wasnt the first person in line) and eventually the line got so long that they said even though britney WAS there, she wasn't going to come meet us because there were too many people for her security to handle. so i feel ya london fans! it was a huge disappointment for a 9 year old like me at the time!
She was kind of celebrating her birthday inside the club at the time. I don't know about you, but I wouldn't leave after people were singing Happy Birthday to me and bringing out a cake.

Britney isn't well yet - I think you're right Perez - she's being pressured to get out and keep up her pop idol status, but all the chinks aren't out of the wall - the type of mental illness she has isn't going to go away over night - it'll take maybe years before she's in somewhat decent condition, and medication isn't going to make her normal again. It's a shame that no one's on her side to understand what she's going through and really help her. Lets just hope she stays out of harm's way.

Honestly folks, it she was there and on stage, what was she going to do? Sing??? Ha! Come on Any Winehouse is a complete cow yet manages to sing without lip synching. Britney deserves less and less attention. Getting paid to boost a shows ratings by lip synching is horrible. Those people in those audiences had to be plants paid by britney & company or the infamous audience cheer track was being played. No one can be that excited to see someone lip synch.
