I liked it and I thought it was honest and helped me understand what she has went through the last 3 years. I feel for her that she does have to be so "guarded" at all times. Like she said most celebs can go for a walk and not be hounded by 30 paps at a time. She can't go anywhere and not be harasssed by the paps.
i laughed,i cried…
she is the same goofy, and funny cute person..but still there's something wrong and is making her feel sad,and i can't stand that!!i want britney happy!!
the conservatorship is going too far in my opinion, enough!i think she is sane enough to live her life, she learned from her mistakes..
love her even more after watching!
She was amazing, so honest, so real and personal. I fell in love with her all over again! She is a survivor, i felt i could relate to a lot of what she was talking about. People who have been through difficult times in their lives can all relate. I look forward to continue to watch her career as it grows and grows.
I really liked it… I could look in her eyes and see the pain that girl is going through- I really felt for her. I think it was a good idea for her to do this.
She sounds pretty good, but she sounds a lot like other bipolars I know who once they feel kind of normal they start feeling trapped and want off of the meds. If she is actually bipolar. Though I can imagine that being a grown woman unable to go shopping with your own children is not an easy thing either. I thought it a very honest piece and I don't generally care for Britney.
Re: lives4gossip – I agree her eyes look dead, she looks sad, I noticed that even in the VMA's she was smiling but didn't seem real…her eyes only sparkle when she mentions her kids…that's it…I think she is being pushed for this "comeback"
Oh it was great! I got teary eyed lots of times though. When she said, "It's really bad… I'm sad." and starts crying, it really hit me what the conservatorship it doing to her.
I loved it. It was so informative on what REALLY happened for the past couple years. I love BritBrit and wish the best for her!! Her new vid looks incred! It's so awesome to see someone rise above adversity and come back with maturity and growth! xoxo
I've never been a Britney, however I found myself really feeling for this girl. I wish her luck and hope she can find the balance in her life that seems to elude her.
The doc was ok- it made me feel very badly for her. She seems so sad and miserable now that she's so "controlled" but then again she was pretty bad before all of that- it got a little scary for her for a while there. The only thing I didn't like was that the whole time she kept saying "there are things people don't know.." and all that but they never really explained it beyond that. I know that some things just aren't our business- but they should have called it like "Diary: Britney's new album" instead of a documentary of what she went through. With all that said- I think most people would agree that she needs to be left alone in her private life- and then when she comes to perform, then we can all watch and be critics and all that.
I liked it. The last 20 mins or so where she was about to cry made me sad, but I understand her better and if she goes off her rocker a little now and then, I can forgive it.
I felt so bad for Britney at first, which is what I assume this documentary was supposed to accomplish. But then seeing Madonna speak (so eloquently I might add!) made me kind of lose my sympathy for Britney. Madonna has done this twice as long, and has had to deal with so much shit in the media, and yet she has never fallen from grace - she's always maintained her composure and has always remained strong. It's hard to feel bad for Britney when she is the one that made all of those stupid decisions. But oh my god, listening to Britney speak for an hour made me feel like I was losing brain cells, she can't put a proper sentence together! Her and Madonna seem to be polar opposites.
I wasn't a huge fan of Brit and I really stopping liking her when she was going through all that stuff. I'm glad that I watched cause I really understand now. I don't think that she had to talk about it all. You can tell by how she talked that she KNOWS she fucked up. I truely like her as a person now. They need to give her some moments to herself!!!!!!! She's going to lose it again if she can't get out of that bubble that she's in!!!! Stay Strong Brit!!!!!! Mommy to Mommy….. Just worry about you and your boys, know one else matters right now!!!!!
absolute shit totally disappointing they didnt grill her a didnt get a goddamn bit of info that was interesting they kept showing her motherfucking shitty music recording clips i didnt give a goddamn flying fuck about anything they said or asked what the fuck about y u fucked adnan galib what about how u gonna get ur kids back what about y u barricaded urself in a room what about how the fuck did u think u could ram other cars in parking lots and just drive away what about how do u expect us to believe u werent high as shit during ur crazy drives to random gas stations y the fuck didnt they ask her one goddamn real question what a motherfucking waste of an hour fuck her fuck her whore sister fuck her whife beater wearin white trash dad and fuck her non kid raising mom and FUUUUCK SHITTY ASS MTV for puttin out that bullshit ass piece of crap interview
I lurve Britnay Spurz !!!! She looked so pretty and it felt real not pushed on her or rehearsed…and her dad…man I cried a few times through out….poor baby…she is lonely….oh and watching the vma slave performance b4 the show…didn't we all wanna dance upon her then??? sooo hotttt!!!!! She's coming back!!!! can't wait for the GMA performance Tuesday!!!
It was amazing! She can do so much in life. If she is bored, she really needs to take up a hobby… makeup line (since she loves to do makeup), reality show about hiring a dancer, making something… Something to give her that spark other than her career. She can do so much! Do we have stats on how many people viewed it?
I think all these celebs are just greedy. I mean, how much is she worth? If she wanted to, she could move away and get out of the limelight! A lot of others have! Instead she chooses to have paps around her all the time, no paps = no $$
Re: prophetmohamed –
Thats a lot of animosity towards Britney & her fam!LOL! Maybe its time you went to see a psychologist to ask him/her why am I so angry towards someone I don't even know?
She seems nice but a little off. She is also super mean to her dad who obviously adores her, he does everything for her and on several occasions she was mean, I would think that as a parent herself she would know better.
Did not watch the Britney Spears documentary, I am sure it was VERY hard hitting and addressed a great many issues like global warming, world economy and political instability and human rights. It was a toss up between the Britney documentary or the documentary about the Giant South American Dung bettle…Sorry the Dung Bettle won out at least it admits it lives a shitty life…..and it does something for the enviornment and humanity…..
AMAZING! She is such a a sad person. She really tries so hard, and really is strong. I feel the need to reach out or something …I really think that there needs to be a law against paps and PEREZHILTON, both who have made so many lives horrible. Something must be done to protect people who chose to have art as a career. It is ridiculous to follow them around 24/7. Hopefully this documentary shed some light to SOMEONE high up and hopefully something can be done against the paps and people like perezhilton. maybe we should follow perez around for 10 years straight and see how he likes it.
OK, all you simpering fans, THINK for a moment. Use your brains. This girl could do a lot to get rid of the paps if she wanted to. First of all, I can assure you that she can in fact move around LA and the country without being followed if she were willing to give up the entourage, the private jets, the umpteen bodyguards, and the distinctive expensive cars. If she downsized her life, she would downsize the paps interest.
And why does someone who wants privacy go on national tv and try to stir up sympathy by talking about her private matters? Why doesn't she hire a publicist who manages the paps better? If she laid low for a while, and was boring when she was out, the paps would give up and move on.
No, no, Britney needs those paps. She may be unhappy at times, but being ignored would kill her.
I honestly did like the documentary. I believe that it was heartfelt and sincere. She def is a victim to some extent. It showed Britney in a positive light and was a brilliant decision on her management's part.
The only thing I didn't like was, the entire time I felt like she just said that she loves her job, but oh how it's so straining on her. I wish she would have just said that the money and notoriety she gets from her career is good as well. Other than that it was really good.
MTV did a GREAT job with that! It was one of the most interesting shows that they have had on there in years. I Could not stop watching it! PAPARAZZI SUCK!!!!
i thought it was wonderful.
They did a great job.
Now we can really understand why things
happened the way they did.
She is a prisoner.
I hate the stupid paparazzi..
I support Britney Spears 100%
i especially loved when she was explaining why she shaved her head
and the interviewer was like.. why didnt you tell people this at the time?
and she answered something like.. Its really nobodies business..
which is true!
i would still be a fan of hers even if she wasnt in the media all the time.
She is a real person.
and i cant wait for her cd…i heard it already and it is amazing!
She's one of those people who will never be happy unless she is showing her privates to the public, screwing loser guys, and getting all sorts of attention. Like the info we got recently from the court, she is a 15 yr old brat who doesn't appreciate what her Dad and others are doing for her. She was never happy to stay at home with her babies. She had that chance and she couldn't be alone with them for an hour. Bored? Poor thing. She has an album, dances, touring. She could get involved in charity work or some other hobby. Her Dad isn't keeping her from that. He's keeping her from dancing nude on the bar counters and downing drugs so she won't be "sad". I don't know how her Dad stays with the spoiled rotten girl.
I liked it even though it made me sad for her … while they could have edited the whole thing up to make that the entire point of the movie, I don't think that they did. What the movie showed coincides with a lot of what you could have been able to see before it, if you paid enough attention…she's surrounded by people but they're only obligated to be there. She's really very alone, and very jaded. I enjoyed watching it though, it dissolves the idea that she's some bimbo.
bless britney's soul! i think she is making the most of her situation….her dad is a classic example of a southern father! too freaking funny to watch….as for the paps, that is just fucking scary….
I felt for her, I really did. And unless you're heartless and can't stand the poor thing, then you had to of too. I just felt bad for her, I can't explain it. She really is just a normal girl, who didn't ask to be famous, it just happened. And back in the day, when she first started TEN years ago, the media was nothing like it is now. Now it's scum and filth and no matter what, they try to get that picture. It's sick, and pathetic. I hope she sticks to her new life and remains clean and sober. She didn't have to admit that she did drugs, the writing was on the wall and it goes unsaid.
Wow! I loved it. I have a whole new respect for her. It made me cry to see how hard it is for her on a day to day bases. It was awesome to see her overcome so much. She's awesome!!!
I loved it! It was sad…but also happy.
I see people commenting they don't feel for her, saying she has the power to change her life…these people DON'T HAVE A CLUE. She DOES NOT have the power to change her life, no matter how hard she tries.
OMG…. when i watched this wow….. i was so impressed with everything… i mean she didnt hold nothing back… i thought atleast she would, but nope she touched based with everything and she let know how much pain and hurt she has …. I kinda understand why she did what she did with shaving of the head etc… she just had a breakdown…. she lost her husband, her kids etc… she has been through alot…. i was never really a huge fan of hers but i have alot of respect for her now…. I do like some of her music I wish her nothing but the best and i hope her comming out and doing this show helps people understand her as person not just another diva screaming leave me alone…. seriously though… Now with the stupid ass people who follow clebs around i mean i understand you need your picture whatever… but i mean there is a time and place for that , clebs need to have a life as well… they should be able to have a normal life just like the rest of us….
loved it, but it got pretty sad at some parts. wish there could have been more juice about her family and such, especially her kids, but then again it would probably be too prying.
I thought she was contradicting herself. First she says she doesn't want to feel like she's a "victim". But then she goes on to say she can't leave her house, she wishes she wasn't famous and all she wants to do is be a normal person..whatever that is. And she is just very very sad. But she was quite honest and open with her mistakes made in the past.
I was amazed at how candid she was, I think that she is back and better than ever and we should all give her just a little respect for handling her business, which is more than I can say for most of Hollywood!!!
I was watching 60 minutes, and they had an 18 year old medic who got tangled up in a blitz attack. She managed to keep her head enough to bandage up the wounded and cover two badly wounded men will shots were whizzing past her head, consequently saving their lives. She's someone to admire, not Britney "I'm too stupid to run my own life" Spears:/
i was kinda let down but at the same time happy i watched it..
i was expecting a little more with what happened over the past couple years but i understand why she wouldn't air that..it's the one thing she can control..which is what she kept repeating throughout the whole doc..
she has a lot more of recovery to do and i think working will help..after watching this i really feel bad for her..i feel so blessed that i don't get followed everywhere..it's so scary what paps do to people..someone mentioned that she was mean to her dad..i disagree..you can tell they're very very close and she was just joking at that one scene..she needs to ’cause you can see she gets frustrated..most people at 27 don't have their dad following them everywhere helping make everyday decisions..
as everyone else said she's very very very sad..you EASILY can tell..even when she's joking you can tell it's a mask..she jokes around the most when she's feeling trapped or stressed..the only time she really lights up is when she's dancing during a certain practice and when her boys are around..she needs to get custody of them ASAP!
after this whole "comeback" i pray that she'll spend more time with her kids…WITHOUT being bothered!!
ps that halloween costume jaime spears was wearing..omg i freaked out it was sooooo scary..anyone else think so?
i also wanted to pluck or gel down madge's left eyebrow..no offense to her but i kept staring at it during her whole interview
I watched it, but I was working on something as I was watching so I didn't pay 100% of it, but at least noticed the more interesting parts. I wasn't in the happiest of moods when I watched it, the overall mood and even the music they were playing in the documentary was rather depressing. I just felt so sorry for her, it seems like her world is just incredibly sad despite the fame and recognition. It looks like shes very self aware now, and has a better outlook on life. I don't think I could watch it again, its kind of a Debbie Downer. Although I couldn't help but laugh when she mentioned that people shave their heads all the time.
It was sooooo amazing. It really allowed us to take a glimpse of her life. At times, it was sad but it was great how she allowed herself herself to be opened to her emotions.
I THINK THAT PPL NEED TO LEAVE HER ALONE SHE NEEDS HER SPACE AND THEY JUS WONT GIVE IT TO HER I HOPE THAT NOTHING HAPPENS TO HER AGAIN SHE IS THE BEST!
Re: Myzaree – Oh I SO agree. Girlfriend was on drugs. That one dude that is her manager has this all planned out…….. do a "documentary" - seem normal w/ meds, launch album that sounds all the same, talk about the mean ol paparizzi (one that she FUCKED!), dance (which is like breathing). COME ON!!!! She doesnt even have custody of her kids, she is an unfit mother in the eyes of the court and you all worship her. What does that say about parenthood and responsibility??? Dont need it, just cry and hold your kids on HAlloween and things will all work out! FUCK!
it was well done but didn't change my mind that her IQ is about 85…thank god she had her father come in and take over. He's the hero here.
It was just perfect, I have always admired Britney and I do so even more now!!
didn't see it.
Didn't see it. Have to pay my cable bill.
Is this available to watch anywhere online because I missed it! PLEASE someone, put it online!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Re: daisyaddison – So why comment if you didn't watch!!
I loved it…she still looks really sad though but It really was interesting!
Re: Kate28 – to piss people like you off.
LOVED it! I've ALWAYS been rooting for her. She's a great person with a good heart.

i laughed,i cried…
she is the same goofy, and funny cute person..but still there's something wrong and is making her feel sad,and i can't stand that!!i want britney happy!!
the conservatorship is going too far in my opinion, enough!i think she is sane enough to live her life, she learned from her mistakes..

noo I didn't see it! post a video!!!! or a link!!!!
I thought it a very honest piece and I don't generally care for Britney.
so awesome. i felt so bad for her it was ridiculous.
i think shes back!
So deep and sad i love brit brit
LOVE her!!!
Re: lives4gossip – I agree her eyes look dead, she looks sad, I noticed that even in the VMA's she was smiling but didn't seem real…her eyes only sparkle when she mentions her kids…that's it…I think she is being pushed for this "comeback"
does anyone know where ya can WATCH ONLINE? i missed it
Oh it was great!
It's so awesome to see someone rise above adversity and come back with maturity and growth! xoxo
AMAZING!! I LOVE HER.
Madonna needs to relax with the plastic surgery and all… I love her, but wow, she looked terrible.
I've never been a Britney, however I found myself really feeling for this girl. I wish her luck and hope she can find the balance in her life that seems to elude her.
FOOLS! Bitch is faking. She is bipolar crazy!

All these haters need to get something better to do than waste their time on Britney Spears(who they supposedly dislike/despise/loathe. . . e.t.c.)!
I am glad she let everyone see that she is only human and we all mess up!!! GO BRITNEY!!!!
it was good, it was interesting, i feel bad for her…
mind you i'm not a fan
It airs tonight in Australia.
I've had Circus since November 27th and it's fabulous! Everyone, go and buy it!
I'm really looking forward to "For the Record"!
watched it. truly sad to see how trapped she is. Its shows she is unhappy..
I liked it. The last 20 mins or so where she was about to cry made me sad, but I understand her better and if she goes off her rocker a little now and then, I can forgive it.
OH I LOVE HER!!!
She was so funny, deep, passionate and a great dancer. I was impressed really. My mom who is 73 liked it as well. LOL.

I wasn't a huge fan of Brit and I really stopping liking her when she was going through all that stuff. I'm glad that I watched cause I really understand now. We already killed Lady Diana. And we almost succeeded in killing Britney. It's sad that no matter how much you accomplish you are still imprisoned.
I can't imagine living a life like that.
Shocking……………………..real shocking……………………

It was great that she answered the questions that she did. But she seemed really sad and unhappy. =[ I cried about three times during the documentary.
And she was also really distant during the countdown show. It was weird.
I wish her nothing but the best.

I see people commenting they don't feel for her, saying she has the power to change her life…these people DON'T HAVE A CLUE. She DOES NOT have the power to change her life, no matter how hard she tries.
Anyways, the doc was awesome. I loved it.
OMG…. when i watched this wow….. i was so impressed with everything… i mean she didnt hold nothing back… i thought atleast she would, but nope she touched based with everything and she let know how much pain and hurt she has …. I kinda understand why she did what she did with shaving of the head etc… she just had a breakdown…. she lost her husband, her kids etc… she has been through alot…. i was never really a huge fan of hers but i have alot of respect for her now…. I do like some of her music
I wish her nothing but the best and i hope her comming out and doing this show helps people understand her as person not just another diva screaming leave me alone…. seriously though… Now with the stupid ass people who follow clebs around i mean i understand you need your picture whatever… but i mean there is a time and place for that , clebs need to have a life as well… they should be able to have a normal life just like the rest of us….
LOVED it…nuff said
Love her EVEN MORE !!!
loved it, but it got pretty sad at some parts. wish there could have been more juice about her family and such, especially her kids, but then again it would probably be too prying.
LOVED it…. I cried when she said "I'm sad", then cried. =(
I thought she was contradicting herself. First she says she doesn't want to feel like she's a "victim". But then she goes on to say she can't leave her house, she wishes she wasn't famous and all she wants to do is be a normal person..whatever that is. And she is just very very sad. But she was quite honest and open with her mistakes made in the past.
I did watch I laughed and cried with her…. she is human just like everyone else.
I do however wish she would have touched on a bit more so much was left unsaid….
Great job, Britney.
Love you even more.
FUCK!
I absolutely LOVED IT!!!! i felt bad for her cus ppl just cant let her be normal!!! BRITNEY TEAM
She's a dumb ass and she can't sing worth a shit without all of the elctronics. Just confirmed it for me.
I saw it…I loved it…though I WOULD have liked an explanation as to whether or not she is bi-polar, etc. etc. Still, though, pretty cool–
She made me sad, I wish the papparazzi would leave her alone. Love her love her love her.
I've always loved her and still do….I feel bad for her too though
I loved it! The documentary really was emotional. I just wanted to give her a big hug.

I feel sorry for her she goes though so much.
