Just like everyone else, we're all curious as to what Britney has to say like when she did the interview with Matt Lauer. I not a fan of Britney but I don't dislike her either. I honestly felt bad for her she's been through alot and its visible what it had done to her. She used to be so full of life during interviews and when she sat down to introduce her documentry and throughout you can tell she was miserable inside. She hardly smile or even talk at that. Her dad confirmed that yes, she was in deed rushed into putting out this new album. She was just in the studio having fun and Larry brought the great idea for her to do an album ASAP! The poor girl never seems to get a break. However, there are some instances in which I don't believe she was truley genuine, when she started to cry I saw no tears it's almost like she didnt want to ruin her make up. But I think this was just another way to advertise her upcoming album. However, I do respect her alot more than now than when we saw her Matt Lauer interview.

  2. 502

i think it made you feel bad for her- all the stuff she has and had to go through everyday. she's come a long way, and is finally back on the right track.

  3. 503

Fabulous! Britney never fails to impress. She is truly a "karate kid'. lol. Im gonna send her sum cheese grits.

  4. 504

Also, she pointed out that she hates being called a "victim" but this documentry pretty much puts her in that category. Also, they did cut some parts of it out..

  5. 505

i believe that things started to fall when she cheated on justin, he broke her heart even more when he based his whole music career on hate/love songs about her..and then she marries some loser who she thinks she loves but doesnt and has two kids with him..and now shes lonely..i love britney and wish her all the best, and hopefully this shows people the real side of britney and everything shes been through…

  6. 506

LOVED it! I'm so glad she is getting better and is back to performing again. It seems that when she is on stage she is at her happiest. As long as she keeps getting to see her babies and eventually is allowed to live alone again I think we will see a totally new and better Britney.

  7. 507

i thought it was very good, she's just a normal person, she's like one of your best friends, and i felt so bad when she was crying bc people just need to leave her alone and her dad needs to be taken off her conservatorship

  8. 508

    i ♥♥♥♥♥ it
    i ♥ brit brit

  9. 509

god it was an emotional roller coaster! it was AH-mazing. I was in tears at the end. and especially when she was talking about her life being too in control. I feel so bad for her and I like her positive attitude. It is great to see her world. Perez thanks for not bashing the documentary… very suprised there. And to all the haters who said it was stupid etc.etc. YOUR WRONG I LOVE BRIT AND CANT WAIT TILL CIRCUS TOMORROW!

  10. 510

    oh shit i 4got

  11. 511

Re: Myzaree – You are absolutely right Myzaree! This was PROPAGANDA for her comeback! I too fell victim to this documentary.. I thought she would tell all, but as she said in her docu…."what was I thinking?" :)
Larry Rudolph is steering this ship. He would not want her to admit that she is batshit crazy, or did drugs. It would ruin her glossy new image. If she sang songs from the heart or songs that dealt with what she was going through, that would really gain my respect to her as an artist.

I felt that she looked lost still….very cold, sad, alone, and not very coherent in her statements. Like another poster said, what "cruel world" has she seen? As they mentioned in their post, she isn't living in Africa in poverty…put it in perspective! She may be under restraint, but it is possibly saving her life! I think she is nowhere close to being "cured" like everyone wants her to be. Mental illness is lifelong and I just hope the people around her are helping her get on the right track… :(

    512

loved it !!! there was some stuff i wished she had talked about, but she seemed like she was still trying to figure it out herself, so couldn't have asked for anything more !

  13. 513

i love brit brit soo much!

  14. 514

Why would I watch the equivalent of an infommercial?!?!?!?! It was sponsored by her perfume….I have better things to do with my life than watch a fake PR spin!

  15. 515

I have a lot of respect for her now!
    shes totes chill!

  16. 516

It was an infommercial….nothing more. Why waste your life on a PR campaign sponsored by her perfume line???

  17. 517

"What were your thoughts on the Britney documentary???"
It was a 1 1/2 infomercial advertising the new-and-improved Britney Spears. It looks like a product I'd be interested in buying, though I'm still a bit skeptical :P

  18. 518

It was very moving I cried a few times. Perez, you should be ashamed of yourself for saying Britney's cracking. She wasn't supposed to perform at G-A-Y

  19. 519

Re: Xelia Kay – You are absolutely right! It was a PR spin by Larry Rudolph, plain and simple made for us to feel for Britney and be on her side. Her new album wouldn't be helped by her actually coming out with everything in a real, RAW way!

  20. 520

Haters are always going to hate- plain and simple. But for the rest of us I think that the doc was an amazing and insightful look into her life. We all judge based on a picture or information force fed down our throats by the media but its refreshing to see the other side of the story. I loved it.

Re: BritneyBarnes – I sooooo Igree with you…BTW I hate Madonna now when bitrney was on top they were best friends…when britney (after the kiss btw) started to have problems Madonna did like they didn't know eachother…now when brit is in her way up again Madonna feels "maternal"?? please….

  22. 522

Ugh, this show just made me sad. She's just not the same anymore… I wish her handlers would ease up and let the girl live.. she seems so managed that even her free personal time.. she's forced to have all these people jumping down her throat. I think she's still a little lost.. maybe not as nuts as before.. but definately not ok still. I think the head shaving and the whole running into the ocean in her underwear episodes really were just attempts to break out of the bubble she's kept in and feel more alive… like she said.. her life is boring… it's the same shit everyday.. sure she has fame.. but she's not allowed to be a person like you and i.. just walking down the street with our kids… it's sad the papparazzi are ruining that for people.. i personally don't need a shot of britney getting out of a car at a store to shop. but it's sad how millions of others do. how these scumbags get paid thousands for these seemingly "newsworthy" pictures.. is beyond me.. a shot of her at wal-mart buying tampons is ridiculous… private lives should be private… and what she puts out for us to see should be what we see as the public. alas.. that'll never happen…. fame is awesome.. but apparently it sucks ass too .. poor kid. i hope things improve for her!

  23. 523

She is broken. You can see it in her eyes. It is obviously way too soon for her to be hurling herself back into the limelight (who even knows if it was her idea anyway?)

  24. 524

i love her even more after watching it. she seemed uncomfortable during some of the interview though :(

  25. 525

    it was honestly amazing
    i cried
    but then again who didnt
    she was so honest
    i love her
    ive never stoped
    and her new cd is
    amazing too

  26. 526

me too!! AMAZING!!I love her even more now! She is a strong woman. Just to still be sane and not killing herself with drugs like so many before her. She is an artist and a sensative human being. I'm proud of her.

  27. 527

OMG I love love loved it. It made me respect her so much more even though I always respected her. I hope she continues to do well in all her shows and that her album hits number one and goes platinum!!!!!

  28. 528

Wow, you asked and we answered with a resounding WE ADORE BRITNEY!

  29. 529

Re: shyboythecat – Not always, Some non-bipolar humans shave their heads for the same reasons she said. Just wanna be free. It's a physical quik way to feel some freedom. I did it at around the same age, just one night like that - it's FUN!!!

  30. 530

Re: omeingott.com – my cousin shaved her head and she's not on drugs or anything… she just wanted healthier hair bc she dyed it soo many times. and besides, britney probably was on drugs when she shaved her head but who knows.

  31. 531

    SHE WAS SO DUMB!!!

  32. 532

I really felt for her. She has been through a lot. I hope it keeps getting better for her.

  33. 533

im so sad for her! she makes me want to cry! i love britney so much but no one should feel how she does

  34. 534

I LOVED IT, IT CLEARED UP ALOT OF THINGS, and really i feeel bad for her, she neeeeeeds to be happy again, people PAPPARAZZI need tooo leavee HER ALONE seriosuly, she is a normal human being and she neeeeeds to enjoy her life, PEOPLE NEEEED TO GO AWAY! STOP BOTHERING HER SO MUCH!

  35. 535

    the documentary was ok.
however, it seemed like a stranger mix between TRUTH OR DARE and I'M GOING TO TELL YOU A SECRET.

She did not explain what happened in the past.

she just explained she would not do that again.

though she seems fine, i think she still is fighting her demons, and that she is on the way of recovery, but she's recovered at all.

  36. 536

I THOUGHT IT WAS BORING. I LIKE HER AND ALL BUT IT WAS SOOOO BORING AND I THINK SHE WAS FAKING A LOT TO APPEAR MORE "NORMAL." HOW ARE YOU GOING TO SAY THAT IT'S NORMAL FOR PEOPLE TO GO AND CUT THEIR HAIR OFF TO REBEL? NO ONE DOES THAT. HER HEAD KEPT MAKING A WEIRD TIC, LIKE SHE WAS ON SOME KIND OF STRONG MEDICATION. IT WAS SAD TO SEE THE KIND OF LIFE SHE LIVES AND SHE WAS ACTUALLY DANCING REALLY WELL, I DON'T KNOW WHY SHE DOESN'T DO THAT IN HER REAL LIFE SHOWS. HER SPEECH AND VOCABULARY STILL DON'T PROVE TO BE INTELLIGENT. I WAS HOPING FOR MORE DETAILS BUT OVERALL IT WAS PRETTY GOOD.

  37. 537

This poor girl! You know what, she did some ridiculously stupid things in the past 2-3 years, but all in all she is an incredibly lonely person. She seems happiest when she is with her children, NOT when she is performing. I am an ENORMOUS Britney fan, but i think her fans need to ask themselves whether they aer pushing her into a career she no longer wants, she did say "if I was still with Kevin I would be with my babies 24/7", meaning she wouldn't be working.
People need to not push her into things she no longer wants to do, being Britney Spears is probably one of the hardest jobs in the world.

  38. 538

HORRIBLE! It was pro- britney like any other documentary is. I love Britney, I really do. But, why can't she just man up to some things?! Why can't she just say "I'm a crazy bitch! I was on drugs and I didn't know what I was thinking."

  39. 539

    Re: Myzaree – Agreed.

  40. 540

    Oh God,
    Loved it.
    She's gorgeous.
    She's amazing,
    Madonna is great,
    Britney's dad is psycho.

    Amanzing.

  41. 541

I LOVE HER !! Can't wait to buy her CD tomorrow !

  42. 542

I love her! I feel sorry for her too.

  43. 543

OMG !! BRITNEY IS AMAZING… AND SHE WAS HONEST AND STRONG…. WOW … I OVE HER MORE THAN EVER.

  44. 544

I thought there were only a couple parts where she really was honest and I appreciated and believed them: When she said she lacked excitment and passion and then when she became emotional and said "I'm really sad". I thought the rest was her just talking about how difficult living her life is because of the paparazzi. While they no doubt make it tremendously hard, I would have asked her if she felt she had brought some of it on herself because of the "relationship" she developed with them all and I'm not just talking about Adnan. Once you open a door, you can't close it again. I also think there was absolutely no real talk about loosing custody of her kids and the 5150 thing. I didn't actually expect there to be though….and I'm sure that's just how her handlers wanted it. That's why they went to MTV and not Barbara Walters

  45. 545

Re: HoudiniChad – YOU ARE SO DUMB !!!!!

  46. 546

Re: bradeyboy – ME TOO !! IT WAS AMAZING… IM ILIKE.. WOW

  47. 547

it was awsome to see that whole side of fame its scary almost to see how sad it can

  48. 548

Love britney, loved the documentary. amazing.

  49. 549

she's amazing and I love her….but I'm really pissed off she has announced no Canadian tour dates. SO LAME

  50. 550

I loved it. She did look uncomfortable during the pre show though, she wasn't her normal cheery self. I guess she has kinda wilted away a little bit. But she is older, she doesn't have to be that bubbly little girl everyone use to see her as. It made me cry. I am glad that she showed us her trick or treating with her boys. You can tell she really does love them.

I love britney and I am glad she is on the right path again. But we are all human and if she happens to F up again I hope people will give her a freaking break. I would go looney toons too if I were her. All the papz around her 24/7. Poor Brit.

  51. 551

It was really good, I'm glad she let us know what was happening, and yes she's right, not everything is true what they write in the Magazines / blogs.
    I'm so glad she's recovering, she's a strong girly.
    Team Britney =).

  52. 552

Re: Myzaree – You took the words right out of my mouth…. I couldnt have said it better. I LOVE Britney, but I was hoping to hear some answers, not more of all the stuff we already know. We know she has a rough life with all the paparazzi, we know she doesnt have a normal life. But what the hell happened the past two years? Where was her explanation? WTF?

  53. eho11 says – reply to this

    553

    OMG
Totally saw it…i'm surprised i did
    it was good
i feel so bad for her
and i hope she gets her life all back together

  54. 554

man it was awesome. even better than i thought it was gonna be.

  55. 555

i think of her to be more like the rest of the world and not one of those crazy celebs or wanna be celebs that have 2 do crazy things to get money((speidi)) she is a generally good person and im hurt that some people cant take what shes gone through into consideration…..loved the docu!

  56. 556

    Some parts made me cry!
    I love Britney.
    Always have, always will.

  57. 557

    A-M-A-Z-I-N-G

  58. 558

It was amazing. People are so judgemental and don't even know what they are talking about. She's a human being with feelings and emotions like the rest of us. That really showed during the interview. I didn't possibly think I could be an even bigger fan, but she drew me in even more after watching that. I bought my Boston concert tickets today!!!

  59. 559

I think it was one of the most captivating things MTV has produced in a long time. It's too bad it didn't help their ratings more… and people are more concerned with the "reality" of The Hills or Paris Hilton's My New BFF. This girl is raw and she is finally putting herself out there again. It is not forced by the paparazzi or the pressure of the entertainment business, it seems as if she just wants her life back and to be genuinely happy… Don't we all?

  60. 560

GREAT! I'm a year older than Brit so I went through the inital BritneyMania. I admit I have talked crap about her before. Not now. I couldn't have put myself out there like that. Especially if the entire world had just witnessed my break with sanity. She made me want to just give her real advice. She seems like she needs a REAL friend outside of her family that she can just be real with. Someone who isn't there for her money or their personal agenda. Some of those D-bags she WAS hanging around with are just horrible. Oh, yeah! Two HUGE thumbs up to her Dad. He is her rock. Stick with Pops and she'll be fine. But that's just my opinion. :)

Don't Hate! If you just really can't stand her, then don't watch her. Go find away to make yourself happy that doesn't rely on you crackin on other people out of jealousy!!!

  61. 561

The documentary was b e a u t i f u l, very honest and moving. Seeing life from her eyes makes you think about how much the little things, like taking a walk with your boyfriend at night, or driving your own car or going somewhere with your kids, really are worth. She doesn't have them, she's a performer and an entertainer and a product full time.. But she she's just like every other girl, really sweet and SMART, just confused…

I cried so much at the end, not when she said that about Karate Kid, but when her people surprised her and took her to the country and let her driver her own car… "When was the last time you felt free?" "hmmm.. When I could drive my car alone." OMG I am going to start crying again… Most beautiful thing ever, seeing her get her wish.. Like a trapped animal being released in the forest… I love you Britney, I send you 1000 hugs from here :) You are worth it all!!!
