Everyone wants BritBrit to do succeed and she's trying, but….she's not quite there.
It seems like her "spark" is gone. That confidence. That special ability Britney had to "sell it" like none of her other contemporaries.
Her performance of Circus seemed lethargic. Lacking confidence. And with way too much walking! She didn't even walk well!
Hopefully she will get "it" back over time.
Do U think she can????

I never watched it because I, like many people with good taste, don't give a dman about the HAG. But, Perez, I should say, you and the other losers who support this hag are disgusting. Leave her alone so she can take her meds in peace in her double-wide trailer park.
I thought she did god considering what she just overcame. I do think that she doesnt have the same energy as b4 though, but it will gradually get better…..she is still an amazing artist, I think after a couple of more years in the spotlight she should take a well needed vacation and think about what she really wants to do.
I thought her performance was great. Try doing what she was doing Perez and let's see who's better you or her….everyone already know the answer.

i didn't think it was that bad. lest we all forget that she's probably heavily medicated. at least that's what it looked like to me while watching her "documentary." also, the girl has been to hell and back. let's cut her some slack.
I've gotta say, she looks ok up there on the stage, a few nerves but that's cool, the problem is her outfit, low cut black pants and a high cut black midriff make her middle look wider than it probably is, or highlights how wide it is, not a great look Brit.
I thought she was HOT!
She's matured! It's a new phase and I for one am TOTALLY HAPPY for her!

I thought that this perf. was MUCH better than the other ones i have seen of her lately. so, its quite obvious that she's is getting back into the swing of things, but this was not the "im a slave 4 u" performance for sure. but, its a great improvement and i was not annoyed when watching. i hope she does well with this album. maybe she should quit after and focus on her personal life.

Every star peaks. For some fucked up reason, everyone wants Britney to "comeback." Truth is - she was never that great to start with. She relies so heavily on producers, art directors, make up artists, other dancers that there is not purity to her. She's manufactured - in every way. She's also boring. Britney & Madonna - neither require much intelligence to appreciate. Britney will go the route a la Madonna - releasing records and doing tours for a aging housewives and homo's - never on top 20 radio again. I think what everyone needs to remember is this was America's sweetheart. She was #1 forever even beating out Madonna from time to time. America then chewed her up and spit her out when she was at her lowest of lows. Instead of embracing the hurt in her life, and sticking by her paparazzi AND FANS cut her down and degraded her publicly for about 2 years. Then go to her "Gimme more" performance that lets face it, wasnt up to the britney par! america TORE britney a new asshole for ONE bad performance and for going through a breakdown anyone would have had. I think it was pretty good, she was probably nervous and knows alot of people are wanting her to fail or succeed so she is trying to do the best. I still think she has some serious mental issues but, she has people finally around her that love her and care.
I thought her documentary was depressing. She looks so sad, lonely, and completely lost. She must be on medication or something. Zoloft, or whatever. That girl needs a serious rest. Her heart is broken and they keep working her to be a cash cow.
Well I thought it was better than all her performances of Womanizer but it was sooo mediocre compared to her past performances when she was in her prime. I can't say it's because she's older now because Madonna is still doing her thing. I hope she can find whatever it is that led her to great performances in the past because I'm tired of being disappointed watching her performances. And I don't like her new cd either I thought it sounded like songs that didn't make it to Blackout.
Watching her on mtv the other night, made it perfectly clear to me that this woman needs a little space. She is human just like everyone else, the last couple of years have been hell for her. She has been through a lot, but Yet I still love watching her and listening to her music. I hope she does well, she needs a little love after getting nothing but hate for a while.
I thought she wasnt her old self, but this is her now…she will get her confidence back slowly but surely.

but let me make the following critical remarks as to what exactly was working against Brit Brit
1) a video photographer that sucks - completely
2) her pants looked like if she streched the wrong way they would come right off pants did not fit right!!! so fire the costume maker
3) half of her act is the dancing. She is going to have to get out of bed and and practice a lot more on her dancing because it was like way way to much gravity
4) Her voice was too weak, and showed no passion
so the question is who are the creative people around her?
she needs:
all new people and she needs to watch real dancing so she can re learn how to do it

I don`t know where you got ”lethargic” from this performance. I thought she was great! Plus she had to walk…did you see the size of the stage?? This was a much better performance than her come back at the MTV Awards.
She seems a little stiff in her dancing and it would be nice to hear her actual voice instead of the lip syncing but I think she'll loosen up again once she gets comfortable on stage. She probably realizes all eyes are on her and how she's going to do. That would make anyone nervous.

no perez, i think you've lost it. i mean i agree that she's had other better performance (ex. slave 4 u) but this was the very close to some of her old stuff. and compared to other artist performances today she is the best i've seen.
Let it be known this is the first time I have completely agreed with Perez. Ye we all want her to suceed but I thought this performance was a step above last years VMAs. She looked outta whack. No real dancing. Obviously lip sinking. She didnt talk to the host like every other concert star does on GMA. I dont know I think she may have lost it for good.
Britney never had talent to begin with. She is a sweet, pretty pop girl. But she has a terrible voice and is nothing more than manufactured crap. I feel for her and hope she gets better mentally. She isn't a bad person, just overwhelmed by fame at a very young age.
But you can't make up for lack of talent. She dances well enough but her singing….awful. Anyone can put on a slutty outfit, dance, and lip sinc.

You know the scary part about this whole Britney come back, is that people will pay $80-$100 for her to walk around in a zombie like state on stage. If I wanted to do that, I would go pay $20 for her CD.

Who knows where it'll all end for her? Meantime, your criticism was a bit harsh. Not a terrible performance at all. But robotic, like much of her more current stuff. Remember, she is *still* not a happy camper. I was almost in tears watching part of her interview. She'll improve…when she's happier.

This was better than her Womanizer performances, but I agree–she just doesn't have the spark that she used to have. I am still deciding if I wanna go see her on tour–I do like the Blackout songs though and would like to see them performed live.
She's always been kinda stiff in her upper body when she dances. Little robotic like. But now - she's either really nervous or doesn't know the steps. It's like they're in a dress rehearsal and she's marking the moves. Very 1/2 ass. She does look much better tho.

Well, Im a pretty honest person. This performance was not AMAZING but it was still very good. It was DEFINITELY better than her GMA performance of Womanizer. I saw that one and it was far less than stellar.
She looks good - I thought it was entertaining. I think each performance will get better and she'll get more confident.

I think she still needs more rehearsal and work. She hasn't done stuff like this in a few years. I LOVE her and am a HUGE fan but I don't know if I want to buy tickets to her concert because I feel she's being pressured to do a tour and it will take her a while to get back and used to doing big performances and choreography.

I agree…waay too much walking around-isn't she suppossed to be a dancer? Someone needs to get her out of black- not a good color…and her hair, lately, looks stringy and glued on. I think she looked her BEST with shorter hair.
