It’s been a good year for Coldplay too!

The group had the most downloaded album on iTunes this year.

Their Viva la Vida was named the best selling album of 2008.

And, since its release in June, Coldplay’s CD has sold more than 2 million copies, and over 500,000 copies digitally.

As for the number 2 best selling album online, that goes to Jack Johnson‘s Sleep Through the Static, followed by the soundtrack to Juno.

The best-selling single goes to Leona Lewis‘s Bleeding Love.

The British beauty sold 3.2 million copies of her song digitally, followed by Coldplay’s title track.

And, joining in having one of the top 10 singles is Rihanna who made the list with Don’t Stop the Music and Katy Perry with I Kissed A Girl.
