So who’s really designing Posh‘s dresses?
A while back, Vicky B. admitted that she doesn’t do any of the drawings for her designs, but excused that by saying, “Do I draw? No. Then again, nor do lots of designers.”
But, now her camp is admitting that her new clothing collection uses the same seamstresses, pattern cutters, and fabric makers as her favorite French designer, Roland Mouret.
And the dresses look suspiciously – extremely – similar to Mouret’s own collection.
But the homage doesn’t end there.
Both lines of dresses are outfitted with personalized and signed “Dear customer” tags and full-length zippers, except that Victoria’s dresses implement a double zipper, as opposed to Mouret’s single.
Vicky’s spokesman says, “There is no secret Roland has helped Victoria set up various aspects of her atelier in London … He did visit Victoria├óΓé¼Γäós studio to see how she is getting on with her new collection and to congratulate her on this week├óΓé¼Γäós launch,” but insists that Mouret had “absolutely nothing to do with the creative process.”
But a source at Mouret’s offices says, “It├óΓé¼Γäós been a bit of a joke as to how much Roland has been involved. The similarities between the dresses are undeniable.”
So funny!
WHAT A JOKE!
