So, my friend sent me here to view this because she knows how much I love Tokio Hotel, and as an American that has been a fan of theirs for six years (yes, before they got big, back when they were called Devilish), I have to say that you don't know shit about them.

They played a few gigs playback where Bill lipsynched or not, ppl standing right in front of the stage can't agree on this one, Big deal! There are ppl who go on worldtours and always lipsynch. TH play live normally and have no problem playing like they do on the albums. And no they didn't invent the technical stuff they use because they are MUSICIANS! And they sound great with just a guitar. These guys are real musicians even if it annoys you. just move on and concentrate on the ones you like and leave TH alone. They are doing just fine being successful in about 30 countries. Perez wished he was that successful, but of course that's impossible when you can't even blog!

Britney Spears entire career(and probably her entire life) was lip synched from start to finish and continues to be to this day and everyone knows it yet it didn't seem to hurt her any. Her concerts continuously sold out even though the whole thing was fake so I don't see why it should be a big deal that Tokio Hotel may be lip synching as well. In reality there are very few artists who actually perform "live". Live or on playback I love TH music, find them very entertaining and real or fake they couldn't have picked a better group of guys to play the part! As long as I like the music and am entertained I will continue to support them and buy their albums.

Does anyone of you think about their contract? I mean, before being artist or singer, they signed up a contract that describe what would be their year and every thing in it. So I think that this tour of radio wasn't suppose to be , then producers pushed the band to go and at least, make an apparition. So they weren't obliged to sing or play,just be there. And that's what they did. Because if it's for 4 songs, I understand that they didn't sing. At least during concerts THEY ARE PERFORMING LIVE, not like some artists that we know well- Britney Spear-.

You were misinformed. Tokio Hotel has NOT been lipsynching and miming at ALL their American dates. They play live at all of their OWN concerts. I was at their New York show on the October 30th. The band played live, Bill sang live and they sounded amazing. You can listen to any of their own concerts posted by fans on youtube. Tokio Hotel has been a band for the past 8 years and they've been playing instruments since before then. For those of you who think their music is shit, I'd really like to hear what you think is good music.
Perez, this is not fair. I've been to a concert, and they sang 100% live, completely. For your information, many artists use playback when they want to preserve their voices. And Tokio Hotel have a new album coming out soon, they need to rest up. This is not fair, and you know it. They are the best LIVE ACT in Europe, you should know, you were at the EMAs.

They've also played several sold out concerts in venues around the states, which were all "live". I was at their New York concert on October 30th. It was 3,000 plus people. People waited in 40 degree weather for 8 hours. The line wrapped around the block.

Perez like she said, you've only said negative comments about them, now if you go and buy their DVD, you will surly notice that they do not lipsynching in their concerts. I havent been to one personally but i did notice that performance was exact to the songs. It happens, tell me of someone this days who does not do this.
