Demi Lovato's publicist reveals exclusively the cause of those marks on her wrist.
"She was wearing wearing Gummy bracelets prior to arriving" at Miley's bday bash and "they left indentations on her wrist," says her rep.
Them was some tight ol' gummy bracelets!!
Was she wearing her little sis' set?

Those bracelets were made of razor sharp rubber…..and they had a hard metal finish that sliced through her skin, months ago…healed and left these scars…yeah, that's the ticket…
um yeah i dont think so. indentations are just that..INDENTATIONS. Those are SCARS. I have the same shit on my left arm from my sadder days (which I covered with a big ol cool sleeve tatoo.) Homegirl is a cutter and more than that, they're on her wrists so it may be a suicide attempt in her past!! SCARY!!!

if it were bracelets, the marks would be more on the top of her wrists cause usually that's the thickest area.

I've left a tight elastic hairband around my wrist for long periods of time and I can tell you it never looked like that..

You guys are just looking for drama. I get that type of thing from pony tail holders ALL the time (well not all the time, I've kind of learned that it doesn't feel to good). They look exactly like that, but mine range in thickness. They also can leave scarring for a few days, and, no, it's not "all around the wrist". I'm not trying to defy logic or anything here, but what I'm saying is that from experience I have had things look exactly like that. Keep in mind, it's also a picture, it could look worse than it actually is. She doesn't strike me as a mentally unhealthy kid, and if she were a cutter I highly doubt she'd be that quick to flaunt her wrists.
I've been a cutter for the past 7 years, and as most people can obviously tell, that is NOT marks from a gummy bracelet. A gummy bracelet would not under any circumstances pierce the skin that deep, if she got any sores at all from the gummy bracelet it would've healed up nicely in a couple of days. Those scars are TOTALLY self-inflicted!

I wear hair ties t0o tight for my wrists all the time.
They leave bright red indentations which are clearly not cuts.
I used to be a cutter and I would cover the healing cuts up with foundation or cover up. The liquid foundation would turn the normally red cuts a purple color. the same shade as Demis wrists.
The only way to really know is to look at her wrists in pictures taken recently after this.
Indentations take the most an hour or two to go away.
cuts take weeks to completly heal, and even so they still leave scars for a while.
