I live in Nashville too, and heard a statement by his publicist on the radio that shot down this story. He apparently has an album coming out and their explanation was that he wouldn't be able to do both. As far as the Faith rumors, I've heard quite the opposite, from some pretty reliable sources. Tim's a pretty solid guy, and very well educated when it comes to politics, don't be so quick to lump him in with every celebrity with an opinion. I agree that some people should just do their jobs and keep opinions to themselves, but they have just as much right as a lawyer, or a banker, who might decide to get into politics.

Tim is not stupid, just because I say that doesn't mean I endorse the idea of his transfer into politics. There are some complete idiots in politics, who had various professions before they made the transition, and no one raises a brow at them because they aren't in the public eye. Not all entertainers are idiots. Many of them are, but not all of them. The fact of the matter is that he is NOT running, but I do know for a fact that he's intelligent, and with all do respect, a piece of paper does not necessarily mean intelligence…remember, Bush went to Yale.

Well I think it is fabulous! I love Tim and Faith and I say why not? Who the hell is to say it's a bad thing. How can we just go assuming the worst just because of their celebrity status.
