What I was saying is that, subconsciously, when a child is given praise for dancing around in this fashion (like Beyonce) as opposed to dancing around in a more age appropriate manor to a more appropriate song, she subconsciously learns that acting this way gets her attention. Later in life when dancing no longer gets her this attention, she will turn to more serious ways of getting it. Its a fact, look it up.

I think you are all overreacting way too much. Watching the video, I did not feel offended or even feel bad for the girl at all. During the 80's my parents drank Rolling Rock and Coors Light and barbequed with the neighbors…as did almost every family on our block….and every family in our town. What I was saying is that, subconsciously, when a child is given praise for dancing around in this fashion (like Beyonce) as opposed to dancing around in a more age appropriate manor to a more appropriate song, she subconsciously learns that acting this way gets her attention. Later in life when dancing no longer gets her this attention, she will turn to more serious ways of getting it. Its a fact, look it up.

Please note, never did I, or would I, ever call a young child a slut. Simply that she was mimicking someone dancing in a way some might consider in appropriate or, in casual, like a slut.

I think you are all overreacting way too much. Watching the video, I did not feel offended or even feel bad for the girl at all. Who cares if there is beer around, is it a lot better than drinking wine at dinner? During the 80's my parents drank Rolling Rock and Coors Light and barbequed with the neighbors…as did almost every family on our block….and every family in our town. I don't know what families you grew up in, but just because of a few beer bottles doesn't mean the kid is going to grow up to be a bad kid. My father was a full blown alcoholic and left his 40 oz of Olde English on the table frequently…I remember being around 5 and taking a sip and it was DISGUSTING…and I am 22 now and don't drink or do drugs, go to school and work full time as a manager for the past three years…wow beer being around in my house really turned me into a bad kid, right?

I don't think you understand the ramifications of putting personal images up on the internet. There was nothing wrong with a child dancing, but you add the beer bottles, the "adult" dancing and the fact that every scumbag out there can view this on youtube - that's where anyone with a rational protective instinct would see a red flag.
And the Mom (or other family member) that complained "this was for THEIR family's and friend's eyes only" has to be the biggest moron on the planet for putting a family video on youtube…..this whole thing is lacking a giant amount of common sense.
