Sometimes I wish you were a little more intelligent and a little more informed for all the power and voice you get from having such a high profile blog. Rick Warren is the only conservative minister who reached out to both Obama and McCain during the election. He encouraged his congregation as well as other evangelicals to look at both candidates and vote accordingly. That's more open-minded than most evangelicals. That being said, he is a Christian, a very conservative Christian at that, and it is within his LEGAL rights (as well as part of what makes this country great) that he can have a different stance on gay marriage THAN YOU. This does not make him a bad person, nor does it make Obama a failure to you. Neither Obama nor Biden have ever said they are for gay marriage. People need to stop looking at others with differing opinions as bad or stupid or failures. These are people with different outlooks on life, and that's okay. As long as no one is being disrespectful or hateful, I think it's wonderful to embrace our differences.
