HBO has just picked up the comedy Hung starring Thomas Jane.
The network has picked up 10 episodes, with the series debuting in June of ’09.
Thomas plays a “well-endowed” high school basketball coach who’s struggling with his life and finances but “figures out a way to use his best asset.”
His peen!
The show’s creators say Hung “has its sexual moments, but the show is very much about what’s happening in the country, how people are trying to survive using what God had given them.”
The show is set in Michigan, which the creators say was picked before the economic crisis of the state became so devastating due to the struggling automakers.
The series is set to begin production early next year.
