She already made a good music video for this song, and it was on YouTube before even I Kissed A Girl's vid was out. They didn;t like it, probably because of the confusing murder scene in it, so they decided to redo it and delete everyones vids of the old one on YouTube. You can still find it though I think. I almost turned it off in the first 30 seconds. The lyrics are pretty basic and uninteresting. The best part of the video is her face. She's cute.
But, the story line was not creative.
I think she should stay away from trying to "branch out" and do period pieces. She should just keep on her Chuck Taylors and plastic bracelets and make cheesy pop rock.

Not to sound all high and mighty, but I don't like the message at all. Cheating destroys trust in relationships and creates drama, sometimes ending them. Being open and honest instead is a lot more ethical. If the relationship ends, at least it won't be because somebody cheated and somebody else was badly hurt as a result. And I get what it's like to be in a loveless relationship and pine away for someone with whom we have a strong connection. Just has to be handled ethically, that's all.
