What A Difference A Year Makes
Filed under: Personally Perez2008 has been the best year our life, both professionally and personally.
It was a year of "firsts."
Our first year in our 30s. Our first year in radio. Our first year in films. Our first year putting on musical events across the world!
And the website continued to get bigger and better.
We lost more weight than we care to know. And we still aren't weighing ourselves!
We got to make some beautiful memories with our family, who now live with us in Los Angeles after we moved them from Miami in late 2007.
And we're just getting started, personally and professionally!
2009 will see our new book released. A bunch of exciting projects we're working on will hopefully come into fruition. And, most importantly, we're going to continue to work towards creating our own happiness.
We're gonna buy a home in '09. Now's the time to to buy!
We're gonna put ourselves out there more and hopefully date someone nice.
And we're definitely going to continue on our journey of being healthier. That's for life!
As always, we can't thank you enough for making PerezHilton.com part of your daily routine.
We are all one big family. We may not always agree on things, but there's nothing but love from us to you.
2009 is upon us and we wish you and your family all the best. Lots of love, health, job stability, and - once again - good health. It's what's most important in life.

Im glad 2008 was a smokin' year for you. I, personally, HATED the year. My father was diagnosed with End-Stage Aggressive Esophageal cancer in late August, despite NEVER smoking or drinking in his life. He did have severe heartburn, but never would any of us imagine that one day, his heartburn would be the thing that kills him. Major warning to anyone who suffers acid reflux, it CAN kill. He had a team of shitty doctors who said he was only stage I or II when he was really stage IV, because they didnt want to deal with our grief, and then they took him off all his heart meds, and claimed they never said to do that. He went through torturous chemo and radiation, so much so that it damaged his lungs severely. The tumor was so large my father couldnt even swallow water anymore. And on thanksgiving, my father passed away, after a valiant fight with cancer for 3 months. So 2008 sucks balls, in my opinion. He was only 57, too young. I hope 2009 portends better change.
