Did Scientology Play a Part in Jett Travolta's Death?

Filed under: John Travolta > Sad Sad

jetttravolta1.jpg

A new report asserts that Jett Travolta suffered from autism NOT Kawasaki disease, which the Travolta's have long asserted.

Autism is a condition that is apparently not 'recognized' by John Travolta's beloved Scientology religion. Followers believe that autism falls under the category of mental illnesses. They view people who suffer from mental disorders as defective human beings and teach that such 'illness' be treated through spiritual healing. They reject the use of drugs to treat mental conditions.

Seizures are a common 'side effect' of autism when its left untreated.

Jett was reportedly knocked off his feet by a seizure before he hit his head on bathroom fixtures and then subsequently died.

Makes you say, hmmmm, right?

Update: Travolta's camp is now claiming that "Jett had suffered from grand mal seizures in the past and had taken anti-seizure medicine which the Travolta's say did not work, so the medication was stopped."

I JUST saw you on the view. You insinuated that you were going to leave the death of John's son alone. I hope you (Perez) end up on all of the other gossips web sites as an example of how horrible people can get.

  2. 302

I do criticize Perez a lot, but this story is important and could well be true…I have heard it discussed on the most serious and respected talk shows and news channels.
I do hope its false, but let's not forget Scientology is a very f*cked up religion who do not recognise any problems to do with the brain. It is in no way justifiable for Johns son not to receive treatment for autism if this story is true.
I am sure John and his family are completely heartbroken and it is horrible and all…but if its because of Scientology then Scientologists need to WAKE UP.

Were any of you idiots in the house where this all happened? Why don't you all shut the fuck up and have some fucking respect! I would love to see how you would react if your child died (no matter how they died), and to have a bunch of dumbasses make stupid remarks about them…how would you feel then?

  4. 304

How can they do this to children with an illness??
Obviously, the drastic measure is to feed him the medicine his body needs.
    This is extremely horrible.
My boyfriend's older brother has autism and sometimes mild seizures.
He still takes his medicine and is fine as a result of that.
Why shouldn't these irresponsible twats do it??

    Re: bunnydance
    @bunnydance:;
I so much AGREE with what you wrote about this cult of Scientology! Scientology kilsl and killed!

    QUOTE: "

255I love you so fucking much right now, Perez! Finally someone has the balls to speak out about what is REALLY going on! Don't mind all those people who are posting negative replies to this. Those people are either scientologists or idiots that can't see the truth.
Jett could've still been alive and well if John and Kelly had given him the proper medical treatment. They didn't do that though because scientologists are against all drugs (even medical and over the counter drugs).
It's pretty effing obvious that this kid was neglected. Neighbors and other people that know the family said they believed Jett was autistic. A few of them even stated that he had trouble communicating.
WAKE UP PEOPLE! This was another death caused by scientology. How many more will it take before you see that it is a dangerous cult?

sadly, I was thinking the same thing when I heard this first reported. Sad. And woe to his parent's if its true . . .

  7. 307

please respect this is a child and its an awful thing they are going thru. i don't care what religion race they are from they lost a child…

  8. 308

Re: Gigi14 – I find that shocking as well. Are people really that stupid?

  9. 309

"I am not a fan of scientology, BUT the real issue here is parents lost a loved son."

No the REAL issue is stopping this from happening to anymore parents. Stop scientology and EDUCATE people about the harmful effects it has had on our society since it's inception.

Stop the evil cooperation, NOT religion, from being able to silence those that speak out against it.

Scientology has it's black hand in every part of the nation's goverment. It's not a secret or conspiracy. It's something they brag about.

    Re: KevinK
Really? And you know this how? What difference does it make what the religious beliefs (or otherwise) are of parents? Isn't the root sadness here that they LOST A CHILD?
As for Scientology killing people, gee is that in comparison to the things Christianity did to humanity at it's inception?

As a parent who is grieving the loss of a son, no one should be questioning whether or not Scientology played a part in the loss of Jett Travolta. The family is going through what can only be described as a nightmare. In my experience, the first year of our loss was one of numbness. We actually don't really recall anything that happened the first year, and it doesn't get better, only further away. People should let them be…they should not be expected to explain anything to anyone. We should be lifting them up in prayer and giving them the privacy and respect they deserve as the begin what will be forever known as before Jett and after Jett.

Re: sandee1012 – Actually I would have to disagree with you…while I can only imagine how horrible it would be to lose a son (my son i sthe exact same age as Jett) my parents lost my brother so I know it is devastating but as far as you saying that "no one should be questioning whether or not Scientology had a part"…I actually think EVERYONE should be questioning it…check out www.whyaretheydead.net and you might just agree….and Perez…stop deleting my posts
