Even Medication Didn't Help Jett In The End

As we mentioned yesterday, more details about the tragic death of John Travolta‘s 16-year-old son, Jett, have been released.

According to the Travolta family, Jett’s seizures were “frequent and extremely serious.” John’s attorneys added that “each seizure was like a death,” with Jett often losing consciousness and even convulsing.

At times he’d average a seizure once every four days, until he started to take anti-seizure medication.

Travolta’s lawyers, claim that Jett had been taking a drug called Depakote, which is a strong anti-seizure medication, denying the rumors that John’s Scientology beliefs prevented him from medicating his son.

The attorneys say the drug worked and reduced the number of attacks to once every three weeks. However, they add that after “several years” of Jett taking the medication, it eventually lost its effectiveness and he went back to having a seizure every week.

So after consulting with neurosurgeons they stopped administrating the medication.

Tough times for John and his family.
