Hudson Will Not Be Performing For Obama

As we mentioned last week, reports claimed that Jennifer Hudson might be singing the Star Spangled Banner at Barack Obama‘s inauguration on January 20th.

That would have marked her first public performance/appearance since the horrible murders of her family.

However, we’ve just found out that won’t be happening.

A rep has just confirmed that ├óΓé¼┼ôThere is no truth to this.”

J-Hud must still be needing some time to get better.

We would have loved to watch her perform at the inauguration, though.

So now it seems her first public performance will still be on February 6th at the MusiCares Person of the Year event in Los Angeles honoring Neil Diamond.

We can’t wait to see her then!
