John Antonelli is suing rap rock duo Insane Clown Posse after being struck by a launched soda bottle at their show in North Dakota back in June 2007. The bottle was thrown into the audience by ICP member Violent J and hit Antonelli in the face, fracturing the bone beneath his right eye.
Antonelli is seeking $50,000 in damages and is also charging the venue with insufficient security and “control” of Violent J.
We’re surprised Antonelli took his sweet time, and even more surprised that someone would actually admit to seeing an ICP concert…in North Dakota, of all places!
The trial will take place July 2009.
