Back in September, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kim Cattrall, and series creator Michael Patrick King all proclaimed at the Sex and the City video launch party that a sequel to the popular movie was definitely in the works.
However, it looks like it will be some time before you’ll see it on the big screen.
Famed SATC costume designer Patricia Fields revealed in a recent interview that though she does believe the flick will happen, based on the confirmation she’s received from King, she has yet to receive any ‘official’ information.
She went on to say, “King has to write a new script. It’s a long process. I don’t think it will happen in 2009. But you never know. Maybe the end [of the year]. That’s unofficial. I have really no idea. I don’t think there’s a set date anyway. It’s in the really early process.”
We want them to take the time to make the second one as good as possible.
We didn’t love the first movie!
