Not all parents are fans of Miley Cyrus and her shiteous Disney Channel show, Hannah Montana.
In fact, Cindy Crawford has banned her daughter from watching the show!
Why????
It seems her 7 year-old daughter has been learning to talk back from watching the clips.
Cindy says about her daughter Kaya, "I love Hannah Montana, but she learns to be sassy from that show. I'll say to her, 'I don't let anyone talk to me like that. I'll certainly not take it from a seven year old, in my own house.'"
We agree.
Good parenting includes monitoring what your children watch on television on the web.
If Cindy thinks it's a bad influence, then away with Hannah Montana.
Maybe other parents will do the same!

talking back to a parent i.e. DISRESPECT is totally different from stating an opinion of your own. I believe the whole point of what Cindy was saying was that her 7 year old kid should have respect for their elders.
she didnt learn that from a TV show, she learned it by her own parents talking disrepectfully to her, children do as they are done to.

Sassy talk? If any, it's just some humor. Besides, if you really think that show supports sassiness, then why don't you say anything else about Selena's show, eh? Technically, her show would promote kids to not listen to their parents ever and to talk back with smart remarks and such. Seriously, it's just a kid's show, both of them, and out of say 1,000 kids who watch any show, there's always going to be a couple who act a bit 'different' towards it. All you have to do is tell the child to not talk that way. Although I don't quite get what sassiness is being mentioned.
cute kids cindy. yeah its a good idea to watch the shows with your kids to see if what they are watching are appropriate. my 8 year old doesn't like hannah montana but watches shows on nickelodeon more. we watch spongebob together all the time lol
Ummm have to disagree with this nonsense! Kids talk back because they're kids! A show can encourage more sassy behavior but talking back, being opositional and all that is a normal part of the stages of development that all children go thorugh. It is up to the parent though to be firm and let them know the behavior is disrespectful and unacceptable. You can't blame TV, music and stuff for normal developmental stages.. I'm sure her daughter was sassy before and still will get that way from time to time because that's what " normal" kids do!!!!

I watch Hannah Montana, but I'm 17. Miley's character is by far the most irritating though, she has no respect for her father or broher or friends. I obviously know better than to treat my parents like that, but little kids don't. I know a 5-year-old who talked to her mother horribly, but a month after she stopped watching Hannah Montana, she was perfectly sweet.

We completely got rid of cable tv because almost all the shows, not just Hannah Montana, have fresh mouth, back talking little spoiled brats on it and my children had become really snotty from anything, regardless of how little time they spent watching it.
People have become completely desensitized about what they allow in their homes and for their children to watch. It all begins with the parents.

Good for Cindy Crawford. Miley Cyrus is no role model for children. I have seen to many sitcoms where its okay for children to back talk and the sitcom parents do nothing. If I spoke to my parents that way, I would be grounded and my parents would have my sister and I clean the whole house from top to bottom. There are to may disrespectful kids now because the parents don't control them properly and let them do whatever they want and speak however they want. When children are away from parents, they are very disrespectful, especially teenagers. Children have also become extremely racist, which they get from parents who can't control their own mouths
