So now that Taylor Lautner is definitely in, it's time to spread rumors about the rest of the New Moon cast!
The latest rumor being that Vanessa Hudgens has been cast as the werewolf Leah Clearwater. They will use special effects to transform VaneXXXa into a human for the scenes where she doesn't have to play a wolf.
What do U think of that casting choice???

Btw. If they cast this little skank it would definitely ruin the movie. Not that it won't be ruined already since the have the same screenwriter and Skank Stewart playing Bella again. But if Vanessa is in it… I mean they might as well just cast Miley. Urgh.

im one of those Huge high school musical fans, but i must say, that this news kind of disappointed me. obviously Leah doesn't play much of a role in New Moon, but she does in Eclipse and Breaking Dawn especially. i really can't picture vanessa turning into a ferocious wolf attacking a vampire.. like REALLY? i think they should stay away from Disney Channel actors, although they are very talented i just think they would ruin the vibe of TWILIGHT. If the director thinks she deserves it then I have no problem with it. She looks the part and before I could judge her portrayal of Leah, I have to watch her first. I think she should be given a chance. Give her the beneft of the doubt bec. we'll never know, she might be the perfect character for it after all. She's just an actress trying to expand her career and everyone's entitled to star in different kinds of films even if she came from Disney. I say go for Vanessa.

The movies are clearly aimed at little girls (which, granted, the books were made for, but most people I know that love them are actually in their 20s and 30s) so SURE..put the High School Musical girl in it…why not…keep catering to the 13 yr olds.
