Taylor Swift Still On Top, Gets A Makeover!

Taylor Swift has the #1 album in America yet again!
For her SIXTH (nonconsecutive) week, the country cutie holds the top spot on the Billboard 200! Her album is now the first to spend six weeks at the top since the 2005 release of The Massacre by 50 Cent.
As for Lady Gaga, she had a small drop in album sales for The Fame but she moved up in the rankings from number 26 to 14.
And Katy Perry's One of the Boys went down in album sales but moved up from the 23rd spot to the number 15 spot on the chart.
The chart is adjusting to the post-Christmas sales decrease!
As for Swift, she's enjoying her time at the top.
The talented cutie is guest starring on CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
Swift is playing Haley Jones, a dark teen whose family runs some little motel in Vegas. She was spotted on set (above) rocking the dark hair and alternative look.

But some years later a movie called 'Gold Diggers: the Secret of Bear Mountain' came out starring her and Christina Ricci. Well, Anna must have been going through her "awkward teen years" because she looked jacked up. I couldn't believe it was the same little girl from 'My Girl'. Sometimes cute little kids grow up to be not so cute adults ;-p

WHY is this chick so famous??? She's not pretty and is a bore (there's a reason why Jonas DUMPED her). I like her Love Story song, it's catchy, but her voice is mediocre. Away with her! Pa-lease.

a reason why taylor has such a huge fanbase is because A- she writes all of her own songs, she name drops and its a lot more personal. A lot of her fans say that they feel like all of her songs were written about them. She's not average. She wont go dressing like a slut in order to make money. She's a good christian girl who was raised on a christmas tree farm.
Lastly, she's one of the only "human" stars out there. If you've met her or seen her youtube videos you can see that fame hasn't gone to her head. Look at her reaction after her SNL performance. She was super excited to have had the honor to perform. Everyone (fans atleast) wants to be Taylor or to be her friend. They envy her hair, her guitar skills (which she taught herself as a kid). Yeah, now she's getting a Disney channel-esque following but I like many can say that i've been a fan before Teardrops landed on Radio Disney and kids went crazy. The only reason why her earlier songs seemed childish was because she's written over 400 songs and the ones that made the first album were written around early high school years. Her second album is a hell of a lot more mature. She's no cookie cutter popstar, Taylor has broken the mold. Go Taylor =]

aw. good for her. keep it up kiddo. i do really enjoy her album. i don't really consider her to be bubble gum. i mean, no she is not in your face cussin you out and what not but i don't see her to much different then your average carrie underwood or kelly pickler. just because she is young does not automatically put her in a 'bubble gum' category; albums i would attribute to 'bubblegum' stear away from subjects even in her songs without any depth at all. i am not saying she has intense deep songs but definitely enough to hold interest. either way, there is a reason she is still at #1 so that speaks for itself.

well the average person isn't insanely amazing in everything is isn't insanely gorgeous either. thus, you have the appeal. not just a chick who can belt any note and look like a model while doing so.
I am 24 years old and happen to be a Taylor Swift fan. Her music is so personal and she has worked so hard to be where she is at. No one told her this is the kind of song you need to write or this is what you should look like. Taylor is just an amazing force in the music industry because she is playing by her own rules. Fearless is a great album filled with songs that have so much honesty and heart in them. People want to sit here and criticize her live performances and let me just stress the word live. There are a lot of artists who have different live shows from night to night and sometimes their performances are off. Taylor has had some amazing live performances just check out her AOL Sessions. I love the fact that Taylor doesn't lip sync her songs or wear slutty outfits for attention. Taylor being at the top proves hard work does pay off and dreams to come true.
I hope this is just for like a video or photoshoot because this is terrible on her.

she's just wearing a wig people, just like she wore a wig during the SNL broadway skit as Annie. She's playing a dark teen. I think the hair adds to the character.

Thats cool, CSI rocks, though I never really saw her as an acctress. I mean she is a great performer and beautiful, but when she acts, even sometimes in her videos, its a bit forgettable. Hope she does good here though.
