Adding ticket, album, and download sales to figure which music acts were the year’s most popular among the “broadest swath of music lovers,” Her Madgesty came in an overwhelming first place.
Even with one of the highest ticket prices on the threshold of an economic downturn, the Material Girl still raked in the big bucks with a whopping $120.1 million domestically and $281.6 million worldwide.
We’re not surprised!
