Ellen & Portia Go Vegan

We mentioned last month that the usually healthy-looking Ellen DeGeneres seemed a bit off.
The talk show queen was looking way too skinny!
Now, we find out that Ellen and wife girlfriend Portia de Rossi have become vegans.
De Rossi opened up in a recent interview and revealed that the two of them went meat and dairy free last year.
Portia says, "We just made that shift in our lives. The benefit of it is weight loss. For her more than me. Her body responded to it very well. It is amazing."
We hope that's not the reason why Ellen looks so thin. Girlfriend needs a couple of burgers and milkshakes, fast! Or at least more protein shakes!
Portia adds, "We are just both very happy. It feels like such a compassionate choice. We are such animal lovers, why stop short of cows and chickens? It didn't make any sense. When Ellen and I first got together I was wearing fur and Ellen was wearing very expensive Italian calfskin leather. She was giving me a hard time about wearing the fur and I said, 'Why is a fox any more important than a cow?' We took that idea and went all the way with it. We are doing what we can."
Someone needs to up Ellen's caloric intake, though!

Animals don't deserve the pain and cruelty that comes their way. However, what do you do, let them reproduce and get out of control?? Balance is needed.

Evolved with incisors? You mean canines. Canines are our "fangs," if you can call them that. Pretty fucking puny compared to a REAL carnivore's canines.

Another person who is ignorant about human anatomy. Those "incisors at each corner of your mouth that God gave you" are called canines. You know, those pointy teeth we have that you think God gave us to tear flesh apart with?
