Taylor… Still On Top

And she does it again.
For the seventh nonconsecutive week, Taylor Swift's album has been at the number one spot on the Billboard 200!
Her album has now become the longest-running number one album by a solo female artist since Alanis Morissette and her 1995 smash Jagged Little Pill.
According to Nielsen SoundScan, Swift's Fearless sold 63,000 copies during the last week. It's sold 2.3 million total so far.
As for Beyonce, she just can't get out of Taylor's shadow. She's at the number two spot with I Am … Sasha Fierce moving 49,000 copies this past week.

Taylor is such a breath of fresh air! She's got it all … enormous talent, fabulous hair, darling figure and so far has not let success go to her head. Hpefully it never will!

I have met her numerous times, and she was nothing but sweet & giving. I don't know why such a hard working female is hated so much. You may not appreciate her craft, but she is hard working, and has not stopped hustling since 1998! Congratulations on selling 1.7 Million in the U.S.A. Beyonce!!!

what?! if after 7 weeks you can still sell 63k, um yes that is extremely good. especially considering her album has been up there longer then beyonce's and yet still outsells her by a good 20k.
i really like taylor. beyonce is an amazing singer, but i couldn't really get into her album this go around. there are songs i like, but not enough to purchase the entire album. i do, however, love taylor's entire album. great cd to play and i am far from my kid years.
good for both of them.
She has beautiful hair all right. And a generally sparkling personality, I suppose. But I am not very impressed, live especially. I think her success can basically be attributed to her Barbie factor. But she has potential, I guess.
Beyonce on the other hand, has been blowing me away lately!!!! I will be fighting for tickets to see her this summer. And she is not even my usual genre of music. At all.
Sometimes I think not being embraced 100% by the superficial and dumb-as-bricks masses can be a bit of an honor. Beyonce, Jonas Brothers, etc., have nothing to be ashamed of in comparing their sales to this girl. We should all be so lucky!
