Dakota Fanning To Join Twilight Sequel???

Twilight will be getting some more "star" power for part two of the film franchise!
According to reports, set to play Volturi vampire Jane, opposite hottie Robert Pattinson in the upcoming sequel, will be Dakota Fanning.
The soon-to-be 15 year-old is said to be in talks to play the Italian bloodsucker in New Moon.
A source reveals that "There were no auditions. They just offered it to her outright, and now they're in negotiations."
Really? DAKOTA FANNING???? As a vampire?
New Moon is expected to start filming in Italy this March. The flick should be released in theaters this November.
What do U think? Should Fanning take the role of vampire Jane?

Not quite how I pictured Jane. Love Dakota but I am not seeing her as Jane because Jane is too evil.

I didn't care about the first film and don't care about the second, therefore, I do not care if Dakota Fanning plays some dumb Jane vampire in some dumb vampire movies for tweens.
Twilight is being dragged on for far too long. It was nice when the books first came out a few years ago but now everyone is suddenly obsessed with it because of the movie.
I went from loving Twilight to hating it in the blink of an eye. Meyer is not that great of a writer, she just chose a good target audience, obviously any girl who is capable of love is going to fall for the book and want to be Bella and have her own Edward but that's not reality. It is time for Twilight to take a hike.

I'm not sure. I love her and I love the Twilight series but I don't know how she would do as Jane.
She is actually a perfect choice for the role. This girl is one of the best actresses already and she's fourteen! And she's going to be gorgeous in a few years. I don't think there is any stopping her. Go Dakota you will kick ass if you get it!

I think Dakota Fanning would do great as Jane! I personally didn't want any Famous actors/actress to be in the Twilight movies because it would take away from Twilights greatness lol but Dakota doing a part like Jane would be pretty cool.
