I thought the GOP had come to its senses and saw the writing on the wall and that they'd finally push someone a little less divisive and more centrist oriented to the front of the pack, seeing how their frothing 'anti-anyone who isn't straight white and christian' strategy has completed alienated most of the country by now. Rove's dreams of a large GOP majority based on the growing hispanic demographic disappeared like a fart in the wind.
