Ledger's Life Insurance Case Coming To An End

As we mentioned last year, Heath Ledger and Michelle Williams‘ daughter, Matilda Rose, is set to get her father’s inheritance. Included in that was Ledger’s $10 million life insurance.

However, the life insurance company decided not to pay up – claiming Heath’s death seemed more like a suicide than an overdose.

So, Williams hired an attorney on behalf of Matilda to go against the insurance company, ReliaStar.

Well, finally, an agreement has been reached. The details are confidential. But….

The filings state that a court guardian must be established to represent 3-year-old Matilda.

And a closed hearing has been requested for late February to finally wrap things up.

Let’s hope Heath’s daughter gets what’s rightfully hers!
