the singer who do the national anthem at the superbowl HAVE to lip sing it because after Roseanne went and butchered it and treated it as a joke, they made it a regulation that it had to be pre recorded BUT, it is pre recorded LIVE. so she would have sung it just like she did now in say, sound check, and then thats what they use as playback. So dont hate on her, because it wasnt her choice. Last year Jordin Sparks landed in hot water for lip singing it until people found out that its the Superbowl rules.
