Paris Has Gone Crazy for Dita

On Sunday, the queen of burlesque, Dita Von Teese, kicked off her “resident artist” gig at the famed Paris showgirl spot, the Crazy Horse.

She’ll be on the bill until Valentines Day, February 14th.

In a recent interview, Dita revealed that she loves the Paris scene.

“I like coming here to be appreciated,” said Miz Von Teese. “…unfortunately it seems that now in America they’ve lost all sense of what burlesque really is. It’s just something very racy for them.”

Yeah, the skanks on the polls aren’t as beautiful to watch as classic burlesque gals!
