You all need to understand that just because you are not Asian doesn't excuse you from not at least trying to understand the perspective of Asian/Pacific Islanders.
For those of you who are saying this is going too far, you need to recall that not too long ago (maybe 15-20 years ago), African Americans were routinely negros etc. Women weren't even allowed to vote 80 years ago.
My point is that we are at a similar stage of "lack of understanding" with respect to the perspectives of people of Asian decent.
