Christian Bale needs to sit his diva ass down!
Back in July we told you about his freak out on the set of Terminator Salvation when he got mad at the director of photography for adjusting a light during his scene.
The sneaky sound guys kept rolling throughout the entire incident, catching every threatening word on tape.
And it's pretty crazy! He threatens to quit that bitch if the director doesn't fire the offending crew member!
We're surprised the director didn't step in to wrangle his actor! He wasn't acting very professionally! And it was the DP, not just some grip!

Whats with the big show he carried on with? He created a toxic set when all that was needed was some serious grown up communication with the guy maybe through the director or producer. Maybe craft service sucked that day.
ok….maybe the first couple swings were ok. he was in the moment…the guy ruined it, he was having a bad day, whatever.
but come on!!!!!!! he KEPT going. what a douche. what i thought was interesting is that no one was stopping him??? i mean, i dont know what was going on, maybe he was the only one mic'ed or what. but id think the director would have some sort of decency for his DP to step in and say, hey! chill!
Wooow, what a SPAZ. Like if someone accidently walks into the shot twice it doesn't mean you totally go INSANE and threaten him. Sure, you should get mad a bit and tell him not to do it again but it doesn't mean you should act like a fuckin' bitch diva. The DP is just as important as the actor so he can't be walking around like he is the boss.
Wow. I honestly used to have a huge crush on him (since Newsies) but I have to emphasize the USED TO. Anybody who talks to another person in that manner, however their "art" is interrupted, makes me ill. Is it really so terrible that you need to speak to someone like that? I wonder how he talks to his daughter.

There are very few incidents which would justify this kind of ridiculous reaction, and screwing up one scene on a movie set is definitely not one of them. I have just lot a WHOLE ton of respect for Christian Bale. This guy has major problems. There's no reason he couldn't have sat down with the DP afterwords and had a serious, calm discussion about the problem. I hope there is some fall out because of this. It's totally unjustified in my opinion.

That's disgusting. The Director of Photography is a professional but it is natural to mess up some times. Christian Bale could've handled that MUCH better. Definitely a diva move.

I dont think is being a diva at all. That is extremely frustrating for an actor, and he is a mthod actor which menas getting into that state of mind for a scene takes a lot of preparation. That DP obviously was NOT acting professionally when he walked through a scene and I think that Bale is entirely in the right.

I'm a makeup artist and when you're on set during a scene, you don't make a PEEP!! If you have to sneeze you've just have to hold it because if you let it go you'll get most likely fired from the film. PLUS you don't move an INCH!!! You're suppose to stay out of the actors eyeline and not distract them during a scene by moving or making any noise.

He's calling the DP unprofessional??? Yes, the DP shouldn't have walked through while a scene was being shot, but Bale handled it completely unprofessionally too. He could have just as easily been calm and explain how annoyed he was that his scene was ruined again. What he did was abuse in the workplace. I wonder if the DP is in some sort of union? No one deserves to be treated that way, even if they did make a mistake. They should have told Bale to cop the hell on, not try to pacify him like that. What a horrible set that must be to work on!!!

The Batman movies are his only major roles, and he isn't even that great in them. The only reason The Dark Knight did so well is because of Heath Ledger. He's spending hours & hours on set, trying to give the Director what he wants and some tardish techie walks in interrupting his concentration…..I'd be super pissed too! The techie is distracting him, the techs are supposed to be invisible, they are supposed to do their job BEFORE the talent arrives. Go Xtian, you tell those techie fucktards. Don't blame Xtian, he deserves to be pissed in this case.
