Salma's Special Baby

Filed under: Baby Blabber > Salma Hayek

wenn21168652.jpg

Salma Hayek is one crazy hot momma. Emphasis on the crazy part.

During a recent interview, the actress reveals that her daughter, adorable 2-year-old Valentina, is gifted.

"Gifted" in that she sees dead people! Yup, little V has a "sixth sense." Or so Salma thinks!

Says the proud momma, "Last night she saw a ghost. I'm convinced," says Hayek, "Last night she woke up and her eyes were open. And she's looking at one specific point and she's going, 'No no no no, au revoir,' which means goodbye in French … And she's looking at someone, but there's no one there. I was so scared, and I'm like, 'Yes, au revoir, whoever you are, get out!' And then she started saying it in English: 'Bye bye, bye bye!' I guess she was trying in different languages to see what nationality this ghost was to go away. It was terrifying!"

Uhm, on the bright side, she may have a crazy mom, but at least Valentina is trilingual!

Now, if only she could learn how to say Crazy/Delusional in all three.

this isnt crazy…babies and young children are known to see angels or deceased family members…

  3. 3

    1st?

  4. 4

I don't think Salma is crazy although its hard to tell if her little one has an imagination or she did indeed see somebody. Then again its been known children do see these things and then they fade off as they age.

  5. 5

oh perez, you gave her what she wanted. that whole story was about her baby speaking in more than one language, not about the ghost. the ghost was just the bait.

    1st!!

  7. 7

well thats intresting…i remember years ago reading that children where more likely to see spirits because they where still 'innocent' per se; like not convinced by the world that it wasnt possible…

    wow

  9. 9

    Cute, chubby baby!

  10. 10

Perez, lots of young kids see these things.

  11. 11

More mama likes it, more she'll do it. Not good.

  12. 12

She isn't two- she turned 1 in September.

  13. 13

She is NOT crazy. This is NOT uncommon. There are reports of many, many babies/children being able to communicate with spirits. I think it's really cool!!!

  14. 14

it doesn't necessarily make a person crazy just because they think they saw a ghost.

  15. 15

WOW, Salma needs to stop saying stupid stuff like that! Que clase de loca!!!!

  16. 16

I hope that this ends up being true!

  17. 17

"Salmatime, and the livin' is easy, ghosts are jumpin', and stock prices are high…

    Your Daddy's rich, and your mother's good-looking…

So hush little baby, don't you cry-y-y-y-y-y-y-y…"

  18. 18

    i dont think she's crazy
    ghosts are totally real
n small children, especially indigo children
can see all type of wierd shit

  19. 19

My daughter used to do the same thing and it's called a Night Terror and is usually caused by exhaustion. They are actually asleep when doing this and have no idea what they are doing or saying and will go right back to sleep.

  20. 20

    i see ghosts ha

  21. 21

    Cute kid-cute boobies!

  22. 22

    that's actually really funny haha
    and cute

  23. 23

That makes her BIlingual not TRIlingual. If she speaks English and French these are two languages, so she is bilingual. To be trilingual, she needs to speak a third language…

  24. 24

Selma has 2 perfectly good nipples and there she's giving Valentina an old plastic one to suck on. Go natural…go organic!

  25. 25

That makes her BIlingual not TRIlingual. If she speaks English and French these are two languages, so she is bilingual. To be trilingual, she needs to speak a third language…
    .
She is silly saying this things. What about the imaginary friend? Kids "see" or imagine things on a daily basis.

  26. 26

That is no gift. All babies see spirits. Every single fricking one! Most just loose the ability in order to survive this world of MUGGLES.

  27. 27

    Re: WTFisgoingon
He probably said trilingual because Salma speaks spanish Of Course, so her baby will also know spanish…..didn´t you catch up on that?

  28. 28

    Re: WTFisgoingon

She speaks spanish too, you dumbass. OBVIOUSLY.

  29. 29

Mexicans are crazy and delusional… what's new???

  30. VGirl says – reply to this

    30

Actually, I've seen this a lot in kids!!!

  31. VGirl says – reply to this

    31

Re: WTFisgoingon – I'm sure she speaks (or will speak) spanish too

  32. 32

Re: WTFisgoingon – Let me count for you:
    1 = English
    2 = French
    3 = Spanish

BTW, pretty much every single child sees fairies, ghosts, monsters, etc.

  33. 33

    Id believe it.

  34. 34

Ive actually heard alot of moms say that about thier toddlers over the years.

  35. 35

I would LOVE to see Salma cover up her huge tits for once.

  36. 36

ummmmmm maybe Miss Chichi's needs to stop breastfeeding her babe

  37. 37

    Okay?

  38. 38

    mama needs her Prozac.

  39. 39

Cute kiddo.. Is she two already? Geez, time flies.

  40. 40

AWwww, c'mon Perez, as a fellow latino you should know better! Everyone has a sixth sense. We just lose it when we're told to conform to societal standards. Kids under the age of 3 always see spirits and angels. That's not crazy talk, that's just a fact!!!!!!!!!

  41. 41

    Thats really odd.

  42. 42

Not crazy. My 2 year old told me the other night that paw-paw's ghost was there. I don't know if she really saw a ghost or not (her great grandad passed recently), but I definitely decided she can't watch Scooby Doo before bed anymore. There is no way she can distinguish what was a dream and what was real. I think she just didn't know where that person in her dreams went to when she woke up. I believe in spirits, I just don't think that particular one would bother coming to visit.

  43. 43

    Awww, they are both adorable!

  44. 44

What makes it crazy that the baby can see ghosts? Small children are more sensitive to other worldly presences. Now if you don't believe in ghosts, then OK I get that. But because Salma does doesn't make her crazy.

  45. MP says – reply to this

    45

I don't think it's crazy. Children are much more open to that stuff because they haven't learned that many adults are closed minded when it comes to that subject matter.

  46. 46

Au revior 'means goodbye in french'. Thanks for enlightening us, I am sure the rest of the world is too stupid to know that.

The kid had a dream - get over yourself. Sick of celebs boasting about their kids like they're better than any others.

  47. 47

Most parents will relate/can share similar stories.

  48. 48

    Mama loves her baby…
But i heard other people saying that babies do can see them and also angels…

  49. 49

I used to see the boogie man when I was a kid. Does that make me special?

  50. 50

I also read somewhere that she breastfeeded an african baby…

  51. 51

With her looks she can be as crazy as she wants.

  52. 52

This proves that Salma is not crazy, just a total moron.

  53. Stepy says – reply to this

    53

I dont think that makes her crazy. My friends little boy sees shit like that all the time.

I think that ghosts maybe kids' "imaginary friends" more often than not. Just a thought :)

  54. 54

Jesus, half of you are as crazy as Salma. Of course, that's the first explanation, right? It's a ghost. Not, "she was having a dream and didn't wake up all the way", not "she has an imaginary friend," not "she was practicing her Teletubbies in different languages," but that she saw a ghost. And not believing in things for which there's no evidence is not close-minded, it's rational. There's a difference!

  55. 55

her daughter was obviously dreaming. kids her age are known to do that (meaning seemingly waking up but still sleeping). what and idiot idiot!

  56. 56

This sounds like something my mom would sat or do lol

Not a biggie the kid might have saw something . Shes just a spiritual person and people like that see the world through different eyes

All Babies have a 'sixth sense'.

    58

    It's not trilingual, it's multilingual.

  59. 59

that little baby is so cute!

  60. 60

oh i totally believe that babies see spirits. i know that all of the babies in our family have had a strange reaction to one certain spot in our house. they will look at one of the walls & start smiling, or jumping up & down, or just have some type of reaction to it & i totally believe that they're interacting with one or more of my grandparents or other relatives that have passed on. the reason i think that, is because the wall they look at has something that belonged to each of my grandparents on it. so i don't think that salma is crazy, but that her daughter is reacting to someone who is really there, that only they can see.

  61. 61

Why is it so crazy to see ghosts. It is possible. My friends and I took a picture at a castle in Denmark that we were to art school at, and in the back there was a little kid. It was very faint, but it was there and there were definitely no children around… Nothing is impossible

  62. 62

When my son was 6 he saw his great-grandfather who had passed within the week. He said Granddaddy came to say good-bye. He was telling the truth, not making it up, or talking about a dream. I thought it was a beautiful experience for them both!

  63. 63

I was getting out of bed with my baby to change her diaper this morning and her mobile started playing from the nursery. It gave me goosebumps. When I took her in there she was looking up at something and started crying. I know what Selma is talking about. Shes not crazy to me.

  64. 64

I love Salma Hayek. I think it would be cool to see a ghost, then I would believe there was an afterlife. I don't believe it now. I'm one of those people that needs proof….

  65. 65

I'm sorry…I do not get the obsession with this woman.

  66. 66

awwww que linda! that lil nene is adorable. and perez ur 'latino' wheres ur head at??? just wait til she gets older. shes gonna be a cute lil bruja ;)

  67. 67

WHAT has that BRAT got for a HEAD? It L@@Ks like a 40 pound pumpkin. Maybe she should be feeding little chimps instead of humans?

  68. 68

how about maybe she saw an angel rather than a ghost? i thought she was crazy when she was eating crickets on Ellen!!!

  69. 69

Perez you FAIL big style yet again… it's common knowledge that babies & toddlers have been known to see spirits - or guardian angels. They also have invisable friends so stop being a douche.

  70. binka says – reply to this

    70

What is so crazy about that? I totally believe that children and even animals can see things that we as adults can not. My son use to creep me the hell out doind thing like that.

  71. 71

ROFL LMAO!!! this made my day hahaha xD
