So desperate that her mom has sent out a mass email begging family and friends to buy her daughter's It's Not Me, It's You.
PerezHilton.com has exclusively obtained the email that Lily's mummsie, film producer Alison Owen, just had an intern at her Ruby Films blast out to everyone on their email list.
It reads:

I never listened to Lily Allen until Perez put a clip of "Fuck You" on this site….. i loved it….so when her album came out i got it an have to say it's really good. I think she sings about real life things that happen to all of us regular people….not about Hollywood fairytale bullshit. Her music has a unique sound and is not just another "pop music packedged in a box" artist. I think Lily and Perez are actually very similar……both are average everyday joe schmoes (not hollywood star types) …both have issues with themselves(like every normal person) both are in the entertainment industry…but not "typical" looking Hollywood stars. Both are passionate about what they do. Both are outspoken individuals. It's easy to pick on them because compared to Hollywood perfect plastic people….they are not…..they are just like you and me. A lot of times you don't get along with people because they are actually very similar to you and some of the things you don't like about them, subconsciously are things you may not like about yourself. I think this is kinda what Perez and Lily have with each other. Lily has a song on her new cd called "The Fear" in which she has said is "Perez." Funny thing is i could hear Perez singing this song and the words would fit for him too. I wonder if Lily's song, "Back to the start" is a song for Perez also??? I doubt it, but it would be nice if it was.

I just ordered it and look forward to hearing it. Her first album was great. Love her new hairstyle. She is a bit irreverent at times but I get a kick out of her for the most part. Hope she succeeds.
