Victory! Facebook Returns To Original Terms Of Use (For The Time Being)

The folks over at Facebook are working quickly with their legal team to fix their mistakes!
The following message is the greeting when you now login to Facebook:
Terms of Use Update
Over the past few days, we have received a lot of good feedback about the new terms we posted two weeks ago. Because of this response, we have decided to return to our previous Terms of Use while we resolve the issues that people have raised.
Glad to know they're eager to please their members! Or el$e!!!!
Let's hope the social networking giants get it right this time!!

Facebook is a piece of shit. It had to take a mass of people in order for them to change their policy. It's giants like them who are so corrupt and delved too much into money matters, that they are blinded to give any regards to the privacy of their users. It's good that you've brought it up, because quite frankly i don't think people want their shiz to be owned without them knowing it. =]

Why not tell it like it is and say "We received thousands of complaints and because of that we decided not to try to rip you off after all, because our site would probably go in the toilet if we didn't change the terms of service back to the way they were.

Just wanted to thank you Perez because I don't think anyone would have noticed what it said if you hadn't have pointed it out. I posted a bulletin on there about it and yesterday FB said they are working on it, so I know that a LOT of FB users made a stink about it. Thanks Perez!! Nobody wants their personal shiz used without permission!!!

-Its actually just 'feedback' not 'good feedback', I don't understand where you get your sources from or why you'd feel the need to change it???! Irks me a little.
wHO gives a fuck man? are you fucking really telling me that the very first time that you joined facebook, you actually thought that you have a privacy and they cared about you? And you think they care about you now? You actually think that they're thinking of people individually saying, "hey, it's sally.. we care about sally. Let's protect her privacy!"
NOT!!!! From the beginning that I joined facebook, I know that anything I post whether notes or pictures will be used against me in the future under any circumstance possible. So I am not complaining now because I am well aware of it. And just because they changed it back to the OLD TERMS doesn't mean we're all safe. Really… don't tell me you're gonna fall under that lie again…Gosh.. well, not everything that appears infront of your eye is what it seems. THat's why R.Kelly seemed so cool but really he's a child abuser. Think about it.

Sorry but I wouldn't trust them after this. How do you know that they won't use keep and/or use your private info. long after you leave? What redress would you have if they did? Frankly, I rather be safe and steer clear of an organization that wants such control over its users.
