Re: Maromi – !@#*?!@#XZ!/"##@!Z@&*(+@%:!! - xoxo
wtf? This isn't awful. Its called having respect for life. The same thing as having respect for gays which you worry so much about. Its just as important
Re: Maromi – Ok, so if you ever go to El Salvador and get bitten by a mosquito that just so happens to lay its eggs in you, and a few weeks after your get home you notice you're not feeling well and you go to the doctor to find out their are parasites growing all through your body…well, since you do not OWN the parasites, according to your argument, then you should not be able to go to the doctor to get the parasites removed. Think about it.
Somebody Has To Stand Up For The Babies.
Re: Spleja –
Actually I know several people who have adopted and my husband and I have talked about it too! Even though we already have 3 kids and one on the way of our own. We love kids! If we never adopt, I am sure our taxes are helping pay for them and happy to! Abortion is murder. Period. There's no justifying it. EVERYONE deserves the RIGHT to have a chance at life. Whether their quality of life is not as good because they grow up in a children's home or foster home, at least they are alive and have a chance to be something. It's not up to us to decide whether one can live or die just because they may or may not be adopted. I guarantee you they would rather grow up in foster homes, etc than to have been murdered! One of my best friends is adopted and living a happy, wonderful life! She has even found her biological mother and keeps in contact with her!
Re: bestieverhad112 – Do you remember being in your mother's womb? No. So please tell me how an embryo would know any difference between life or death. Or, please tell me how something that is useless without the mother's uterus has the same rights as a baby who has actually been born and can breathe with its own lungs? This isn't rocket science people..it's logic. Get your head out of your asses and support a woman's right to choose what she wants to do with her own body. Plus, check the statistics of women who have abortions. Did you know that the majority of women who have abortions are actually married?! I wouldn't consider that as irresponsible sex, so stop your judgement and accusations that it is only sluts and whores who unwillingly get pregnant and have abortions.
Re: Spleja –
So how does that justify murdering the children? You are saying they don't deserve the chance at life because they grow up in an overcrowded foster home? I still think that's better than the other "choice". As for adoption, our system stinks. I'll give you that. I have a good friend adopting from China because our system is so hard to get a child. Yet, even knowing that, I still am against abortion.
Re: lb0wen – You should be adopting
and my lover is adopted. And uh, really? A lot of people who have bounced around in the system kill themselves or get into a criminal lifestyle to try and deal with the pain.
Not everyone is so lucky to be adopted into a good home. And not everyone is strong enough to overcome a troubled life. It's not black and white.
i hate this mentality that abortion is just "killing babies". no one is clubbing adorable year old infants over the head here. under the law a fetus isn't given rights unless it can survive outside the mother and personally i have a hard time aknowledging something as a sentient being before there are at least some sembelence of brain waves…. and why do people who go on and on about how babies are such gifts and blessings also refer to them as just a "consequence" that some woman has to suffer for being a big slut who couldnt keep her legs closed… pretty heartless to wish that on a kid
Re: lb0wen – My lover was adopted from Korea. I wouldn't care if abortion were banned if we just did more to prevent unwanted pregnanices in the first place and if all the children were taken care of and adopted. The majority of people I know who preach about how terrible abortion is wont adopt any of the children and it pisses me off.
Re: lb0wen – Don't put words in my mouth, btw. I have said in this thread that I don't like abortion but I do realize that in some situations it is better that way. My friend had to have an abortion because she has a repressed immune system and couldn't afford the extended hospital stay to have the baby, nor could she afford to care for the baby after that. She wasn't happy to do it and wish she could have kept it but the world is not a simple place to live. It is a cruel world.
She didn't want it bouncing around in the foster care system, either. You could say it was a mercy kill.
Re: FREEDOMOFCHOICE – no…not "sluts" MURDERERS
Re: Angie3000 – Thank you Angie! Well said.
I don't see any of these "anti-abortion" folks adopting all these children they want these women to have. They should start adopting these children then and only then will they have some credibility for me.
Re: Spleja – of course, everyone wants children of their own, but we defend innocent lives. there are couples that don't have that chance. heterosexual couples, gay couples…
Re: Maromi – Dude, you're an idiot. There would be no baby with out the mother to carry it to term. You need a serious review of Biology.
Until it's born, the fetus is totally dependent on the mother for life. Period!
You have about as much right to tell women they should keep there legs closed, as I do to tell you what to eat everyday. I don't ever hear anyone tell men to keep the dicks in their pants. Why is that I wonder? I know, it's because you're hypocrites.
Shut up and mind your business.
You guys were all mad at Sarah Palin for that whole "killing of the wolves thing" but then you let babies get killed??? hypocrites
Re: lolly18 – I am infertile so
I wouldnt care if abortion were banned if all the babies and children would be adopted by good people but it seems like people are more interested in spawning their own children and not helping take care of unwanted ones?
I think better education is important in preventing abortions and that birth control should just be free.
Re: AmEllen – I know for a FACT that unborn children have emotions. My sister in law suffered a burn wile being pregnant and as she was stabilized by doctors, my niece's heart rate increased tremendously, she felt something was wrong and she felt my sis-in-law pain. So even though it hasn't been born yet does not mean that they dont feel nor have the right to live.
Re: JuneGordon – #272 JUNEBUG!……….
Pro-life is a moniker that the religious right hung on anti-abortionists. It is twisted thinking to equate innocent unborn babies with cold blooded murderers just like it is ridiculous to call partial-birth abortions abortions at all.
This is good. If a woman wants to choose, she can choose condoms and birth control, not killing babies.
Re: JuneGordon – #100
There you go again JuneBug. Since you don't believe in the big guy in the sky, who do you think is going to grant you your wish……the June Bug Fairy?
Re: AndieW – Feel sorry for me? Please. If I needed anybodies pity, it would certainly be someone with a little common sense.
Re: jamilicious:) – Wow. That is the most ignorant thing I've ever heard. Tell you what, why don't go out and get brutally raped, become pregnant, have the baby, and tell us what a wonderful experience it is.
Dumb ass.
Re: someonesmarter – Oh really now? Care to enlighten me on how I was wrong, instead of just making a blanket statement like "moron"…or is it that you know I'm right? I don't know what comment you're responding to, and I don't know if you're one of those bible belt, troglodyte-way-of-mind "enlightened" thinkers, but I made it particularly obvious I'm rather facetious.
Re: perez_is_an_idiot! – now that was just retarted. you think a child has any recollection of when they were newborns..not at all. all life, from the moment of conception is life. regardless of how ppl try to make justifications of its existence….
Re: lolly18 – the fetus is connected to the mothers circulatory system via the umbilical cord so trauma to the mom is of course going to increase fetal heart rate…. also… not an emotion. i very much doubt any one WANTS to have an abortion. its a serious choice that women deserve to be able to make based on her own morals and values…. not everyone believes life begins at conception. if you do… dont have 1
Re: FLCutie27 – Their abortion ban is conditional and leaves room for medical emergencies such as those threatening the life of the mother or child.
I'm educated about it enough to make such "ignorant statements" kthx.
Re: catxcore –
I'm non-christian, pro-life, and young enough to still have 20+ more years of child-rearing ahead of me.
Try again.
Re: Spleja –
I am sorry if I seemed to have put words in your mouth. Didn't mean to come across that way. I do see how you feel and agree to a certain extent. Not about abortion, but about kids put up for adoption not living good lives sometimes. It's unfortunate. Then again, there are many who lived awesome lives. Vice versa for children who were raised by their own parents. Sometimes life deals us lemons. I just don't think we have the right to decide for these babies. That's just my opinion. That's so sad about your friend. I have researched abortion on the web and it's disturbing and reaffirmed my views on it. If you can stomach it, you might want to go research abortion on the web. It may change your mind. Partial Birth abortion especially. If nothing is ever done about abortion, partial birth should be banned.
First of all North Dakota may not be over populated with people, but that does not make us white trash I love how whenever I travel anywhere I meet ppl that base everything they know on sterotypes, I went to california and beleive it are not some of u thought we still rode on horses and lived in tepees, so does that mean I should tell ppl that california has a buch of dumbasses living there. We are ppl just like you must of us like doing the exact same things you do. We live in houses and we drive cars, so really what makes u better because u live somewhere else
Re: lb0wen – I have said I don't really like it but I don't feel it is my right to tell another woman she has to go to term with her pregnancy and give birth. I'd rather do more to educate people to prevent them from becoming pregnant in the first place. Use condoms and the pill, know when you ovulate, etc.
We need better sex education for one and I think birth control should be free.
it is not awful to outlaw murder you dumbass. really, sit there and think about it, and tell me you truly think it is awesome for someone to OOPS get pregnant and then kill their baby because of their own stupid mistake. THINK ABOUT IT.
PEREZITO YOU'RE A DISGUSTING PIECE OF SHIT!!!!! YOU'RE RESENTED TO THE WORLD BECAUSE YOU KNOW YOU CAN'T HAVE KIDS ON YOUR OWN AND BECAUSE OF THAT YOU WANT OTHER PEOPLE TO TAKE IRRESPONSIBLE DECISIONS AND RUIN THEIR LIVES BY HAVING AN ABORTION. YOU'RE ONE OF THE MOST SELFISH HUMAN BEINGS I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE. I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW YOU WERE PRO-DEATH, I MEAN, ANTI-LIFE, I MEAN, PRO-ABORTION. BUT THAT MAKES YOU MORE DISGUSTING THAN BEFORE, MY DEAR PERV…
Re: Uker – oh yeah!!! UK: HOME OF THE PIRATES!!!!
Re: perez_is_an_idiot! – So let's think logically then…..According to you, because the baby is dependent on the mother, it's ok to kill it? Well, every baby I've ever met was not able to raise itself outside of the womb. So does that mean that if a mother had a child but then decided that it was too much work, it would it be ok to kill it? After all, the baby's completely dependent on the mother to feed it, to change it, to provide it with a home, etc. It sounds to me that a baby is actually more taxing on a mother after it's born than when it's in the womb. A baby causes a lot of stress which can take a toll on the mother, but I think you'd agree with me that it's wrong to kill the baby. Shit, most people need their parents to take care of them until they're 18 (and some even longer). Good for you North Dakota! The rest of the world should follow in your footsteps. People need to live with the consequences of the decisions they make. Abstinence is the only 100% way to prevent pregnancy. And no, I'm no saint. I have sex and I use birth control but I'm aware that I can still get pregnant. And if I do get pregnant, I'll do everything I can to make that baby's life good. Life starts at conception. For everyone who doesn't believe that…..educate yourselves. You're being very ignorant. Abortion is completely selfish. You want the right to choose? Choose to not have sex or choose to deal with the consequences.
Perez I absolutely love you, but I can't believe you are pro-choice. Everyone deserves their rights, including an infant still in its mother's womb. An infant isn't part of a woman's body, but uses it for nourishment. If women are allowed to kill a child in their womb, no matter how they became pregnant, then should women also be allowed to kill a baby that has been born just because she didn't want the child? Also, partial-abortion allows clinics to induce the mother into labor and kill the baby after it has been born. Just because the baby can't scream in it's mother's womb doesn't mean it does not have it's own life. Everyone is interdependent on humanity, no matter how independent one might think they are; we all need each other to survive. Nobody has the right to kill another life, especially if the life is innocent and only beginning to grow. But I still love you Perez although our views differ…and Red Carpet Suicide and amazing.
And i completely agree with Sgr112, sorry I jut realized I wrote a lot of the same stuff lol
Re: Nicoley2010 – You are.. wow that is stupid. Why do you compares apples and lychees? Huh? Abortion isn't the same as murdering a child that is already out and breathing on it's own.
How can you call others ignorant when you try to draw comparisons like that?
Re: Nicoley2010 – "Nobody has the right to kill another life" are you also vegetarian?
It's murder…plain and simply murder. No matter how you dress it up, sugar coat it and add a sob story to it. The bottom line is it's killing a baby.
Did you know a baby's heart starts beating 18 days after conception?
Re: Spleja – Well did you know a baby can breathe on its own at 5 months? Yes it might need some help from doctors, but premature babies that are born this early can and do survive….yet there are still people killing them. Basically you're saying that the location of the baby (out or in the womb) gives a woman a right to kill it. No matter how you compare it, it's still murder.
im from north dakota..all i have to say is that its pretty bad that a big change in our country has to start with this little state that no one acknowledges. shows how smart the rest of the country is. at least the majority of us choose not to be murders. your mothers didn't choose to murder you before you were born. besides, everyone who gets an abortion, no matter what the case may be, should go to prison….. you had enough guts to kill a baby, you should have enough guts to sit next to a seriel killer in prison.
Re: little_tt –
Well, don't pat your state on the back just yet. It still has to get ND Senate approval, and if it does pass, it'll probably get struck down as being unconstitutional.
I just did some research and found some interesting facts for whoever wants to know.
A baby can begin to feel touch at 8 weeks, by 17 weeks the baby experiments with it's newfound touch by stroking it's face or sucking it's thumb, taste 13-15 weeks, hearing at 18 weeks, sees light as early as 18 weeks.
Ok people. To put this all in perspective from a 14 year old who isn't sexually active but she's gorgeous, abortion is soooo messed up. we can stand up for the rights of some freakin animal not to murdered for their fur, but not for an actual baby? come on now! I mean Perez you big idiot how is this awful??? I see the point in rape, to me those are the only ones who should be given a choice. As far as health goes, don't give me that bs. Sure they should have an option, but only under certain circumstances like my aunts. My aunt, who accidentally got pregnant, had a disease that doesn't favor pregnant women. Did she go and abort my cousin? NO. She took that responsiblity because she realized that her baby should have a chance to live. She had my cousin, who is now 26, however, she died the next day, but she made a completely unselfish choice. As far as other women, don't spread your legs without a condem and/or birth control. If you don't feel like owning up to your actions you shouldn't have a back door. Just give the baby up for adoption. GEESH! It's soo amazing that i can live in a country that cares more about the environment and animal rights than HUMAN rights! Thank you ND for finally doing something about it.
Re: Sgr112 – I do not really support abortions at 5 months. 3 months or earlier but even then I am not the biggest fan of it.
Re: OMGitsallaboutme!!!! – Are you planning on adopting children? I doubt it.
And thinking about it doesnt count if you don't do it.
Re: OMGitsallaboutme!!!! – So you think a woman should be forced to go through with a pregnancy even if it might kill her AND the baby? What the fuck.
I'd only get an abortion if it were a risk to my life and to know that there are people out there who think I should be forced to die just.. what the fuck.
Re: topper – Either you are "pro-life" or you are not. I can fully understand how some people are against abortion, but so many of these people think it is such a black/white issue. But when it comes to how they "value life" they find shades of grey or total contradictions. Don't talk about being "pro-life" or belonging to a "culture of life" when you are for the death penalty. I think abortion is horrible and the death penalty barbaric. Plenty of innocent people have been killed in the name of the state on death row. I am not in favor of abortion, but I have found that people who are "pro-life" tend to be annoying, sanctimonious, hypocritical, beanie-baby-collecting idiots.
Re: lb0wen – "A baby can begin to feel touch at 8 weeks, by 17 weeks the baby experiments with it's newfound touch by stroking it's face or sucking it's thumb, taste 13-15 weeks, hearing at 18 weeks, sees light as early as 18 weeks." Yes, isn't Jesus so horribly cruel killing so many of them with miscarriages? And just think of all the innocent babies who felt the pain of drowning in the Great Flood. Why is God so crazy killing the unborn? I'm crying as I type . . .
Re: JuneGordon – you sure love to put God in the midst of this… I doubt God told irresponsible ppl to have unprotected sex or ppl to rape someone…. sometimes I wonder why we love to blame God for our actions….
Re: LaDiva delivers KO fatalities – God did nothing to stop them, either. You think God could just give a would be rapist terrible stomach pains before he was going to rape someone.. anything. He could stop it without taking away our free will. But I'd guess he'd rather have his beloved children suffer.
If you really notice on here, some of the people who claim to be pro-life are the same ones who use this website to spout their racist, homophobic, and sexist views, or they're the same ones who tell people they should have been aborted, or that they hope they die falling off a cliff just because they support abortion. I guess life is more valuable when they think of cute little fingers and toes inside a uterus, but it isn't so much valuable when that life grows up to be black or gay, or becomes someone more intelligent enough to call them out on their own bullshit.***
*
And to June Gordon…I LIVE for your posts, girl!! I think the ones that are attacking you are just bitter because they're not as able to be witty and clever in their retorts. Work it, girl.
It is awful. What a bunch of idiots.
Re: LaDiva delivers KO fatalities – The only point I am trying to make is this: Most of the "pro-life" people I have met tend to be Christians who site their faith as a major reason for their beliefs about abortion. That's fine, but they believe in a god who routinely slaughtered "innocent" children (born and not) in the Bible. If you read it, there is some horrific and crazy stuff. There is a disconnect there. I don't think many people who claim to believe the Bible is the word of their god actually read all of it. They just pick "sweet" and "special" verses for Bible study. All that being said, I respect their abhorrence of abortion. I just don't get how that disgust honestly springs from their barbaric religion — or how they can also support the death penalty or be so pro-war. It's intellectually dishonest.
Re: Spleja – negative. God gives ppl the freedom of will. ppl are responsible for their actions. so therefore blaming God for the crap ppl choose to do is just as bad…. i am not going to dispute with you whether you believe in God and if He cares for you b/c chances are it will fall on deaf ears…. But i know there is a God n He is always there. we know right from wrong n if you cant assume responsibility for your actions, dont blame God for them…
Re: LaDiva delivers KO fatalities – He doesnt do a very good job of protecting his children, you gotta admit. Pray all you want, wont do shit. You could still get murdered, raped, tortured, and so on.
He has his reasons
TO spleja, I didnt say that if you would die. Can you not read? I said exceptions would be a case like my aunts… Also if you knew were going to die, I would advise you not to have the baby, and thats not being hypocritical of anything i said before…
Re: JuneGordon – as i cannot answer for the others who have blogged i will state this much… yes i am a christian… no i am not against abortion b/c of my belief as i am against it b/c i abhor the cruelty of how life is butchered… i dont stick my personal beliefs onto anyone… God is my judge n no one else… but at the end of it, i assume responsibility for my actions n will not blame God or anyone for them.
Re: Spleja – I never said I would be for forcing some one to have a baby if they knew they were going to die and the baby was going to die. can you not read. I said one exception would be one like that. my aunts case is that, except her baby lived and she didn't… Just Saying…
Re: AmEllen – First of all, I did not mean that women would want to have an abortion… I just see it as the easier way to get the mess that you made out of the way and there are other options.
Re: JuneGordon – I know people who say abortion is worse than war. People who think little children being blown up and made to suffer in terrible pain is worse than aborting a fetus that has never really lived.
Soldiers with families dying is better than aborting a fetus.
Re: Spleja – neither is whining and complaining about it… that won't solve anything as well….
I live in North Dakota! People do live here, and we aren't hicks, and we aren't uneducated. I guess the difference between people here and people elsewhere is that we have enough sense to realize that there are other alternatives to abortion. If you are having sex and don't understand that if you don't use protection you could and will eventually get pregnant, then you shouldn't have any "womens rights" If you're that fucking stupid, someone should kill you, not your helpless baby. women's rights it just a selfish cop out so that people don't have to feel bad for making a selfish and senseless decision. And yes I understand that women get raped and so on, but even if you are raped, that baby is still half of you as well!
Re: OMGitsallaboutme!!!! – I did read and that was pretty much your message. Crystal clear.
Re: Spleja – Ack, that aborting a fetus is worse than children being maimed in war.
Re: LaDiva delivers KO fatalities – Then my beef is not with you and I respect your right to come to your own judgment on this issue. I can see why someone would be against abortion. I just can't see how they could ever use the Bible as justification for that position.
Re: Landonsmama – "If you are having sex and don't understand that if you don't use protection you could and will eventually get pregnant," You make a perfectly valid point. My only problem is that many of the people who are "pro-choice" are also anti-teaching-about-birth-control, like that hypocrite Sarah Palin, when both she and her daughter got knocked up outside of marriage. That's just crazy bullshit. It's "la la la la la la I DON'T HEAR YOU MR. REALITY!!!!"
Re: Landonsmama – Birth control fails sometimes, did you know that?
PRO CHOICE!
This isn't awful, it is a good thing. Abortion is used by careless people in order to not take responsibility for their actions. Sure, under certain circumstances the terminating of a life should be allowed, such as when the pregnancy is likely to kill both the child and the mother. However it shouldn't be used to correct the irresponsibility of people.
Re: alysssa – I agree
"believe in a god who routinely slaughtered "innocent" children (born and not) in the Bible"
I looooove how SOME people take some verses of the Bible out of context and re-interpret it the way THEY want w/out doing a deep biblical study.. stupid and ignorant people!!!
The Government needs to let people make their own decisions.
June Gordon: just because some of us are christians, doesn't mean that you have the right to make fun of our belifs. You just made yourself look like a total jerk with comment #100
Re: JuneGordon – #454
>
Thou Shall not Kill is the 6th Commandment but if you live totally by that law, you could not eat meat, fish, or even vegetables. Life must be destroyed in order for people to eat. Countries have to go to war to protect aggression or they would be exterminated. Israel is in that position now. Iran has promised it’s demise.
>
There would be no law if people were not judged. When they commit heinous crimes, they are put to death for punishment and as the ultimate deterrent.
>
Babies and the unborn are totally innocent of committing any crime and should always be allowed to live. That is black and white to me.
>
I am not "pro-life" and I am not "pro-choice". I am against abortions. The government should not promote or fund any abortions. It would not be unconstitutional to prohibit a doctor from performing abortions because it would be murder and the mother would remain in control of her body.
Re: perezito_is_an_asshole – #480
>
You say "just because some of us are christians, doesn't mean that you have the right to make fun of our belifs. "
>
You couldn't be more wrong. Everyone has the "right" to make fun of anything they care to. That is guaranteed by the 1st Amendment. You should read it sometime.
Re: perez_is_an_idiot! – i'm the idiot??? LOL.. maybe you should get your facts straight instead of making yourself look stupid. abortion IS legal here dumb ass. and what makes you so sure i'm white?
This is just BEYOND…! any sense, at all
Re: MRS. JOSH HOLLOWAY – I AGREE !
Re: topper – honey, first of all, i'm not american (thank God!!!!!) so i'm not forced to read it
secondly, she can give her opinion any time, which is completely different from making fun of people's belifs. It's just a matter of being polite
What do u mean this is awful?! Stupid girls should have thought about what the heck was gonna happen to them b4 the chose to open their legs!
every baby deserves a chance to live their life
it's not like the poor things asked to be born =[
if u don't want ur kid, don't take it's life away….
give it to sumone who can't have them!
Fucking A! It will probably be overturned and I hope soon.
Wow that sucks….I guess there will be a lot of slut road trips.
Re: localsavage –
LOL! Great minds think alike. Let the sluts drive they ass to a state where infanticide is allowed and they can kill their fetuses there.
This is bullshit, so a handfull of old men have taken it apon themselves to tell all women in their state what to do with their bodies. Fucking horrible
Re: BrittLover –
Not all women support baby murder, slut. Oh wait you are a Britney Spears fan. That explains soooo much about you.
Re: JuneGordon –
I wish all you baby killing libshits would move to a country that is already "progressive" and immoral. Europe would love to have you I'm sure.
Perez–you friggin libtard hypocrite…
So, you support State rights when it comes to them making their own laws that allow gay marriage but if a state chooses to make their own law in which they don't want to allow abortion—you think they are usurping the constitution…
WHATEVER…
I believe in Federalism–therefore I believe the majority of issues should be decided by the individual sates. If the majority of North Dakota politicians as elected by the people there want to outlaw abortion—they should have that right for their state…
In Kansas, they voted to allow abortion in all 9 months (AKA–partial birth abortion) which had been previously banned by the Federal Government. You can't have it both ways. You can't say Kansas is allowed to state rights and then say North Dakota is not because you don't like the outcome….
Re: Jenny2 –
You are officially the smartest person in the room.
"It's called a state law. States have sovereignty." Sorry to allow facts to intrude, but in the real world states are subject to the Constitution and a wide array of federal laws, darling. Re: JuneGordon –
The states have rights or powers granted to them under the 9th and 10th amendment of the U.S. Constitution. You are lecturing someone and you don't even know what you are talking about.
Are YOU going to pay to raise these unwanted kids?
Re: libgirl –
In case you haven't noticed, slapstick, as in the case of octuplet mom in liberal California where abortion is allowed and even celebrated, people are already having to keep the sexually irresponsible up. Abortion as birth control is just one more form of sexual irresponsibility. You can pay for a sluts birth control but you can't make them take the birth control. So you are paying for the slut's birth control only for them not to take the birth control and then you have to pay to take care of their children or you have to pay for their abortion….keep your legs closed if you are not smart or responsible enough to have sex. I HATE you Feminazi and your bullshit propaganda. Why is it that more women than ever are getting pregnant and/or needing abortion? Could it be because society has made it okay to fuck everything and everyone? Prior to the 60's and the liberal sexual revolution this wasn't near the problem it is now. Sexual permissiveness is the problem here. Prior to the Slutual Revolution you weren't seeing that many sexually active 9 year olds or pregnant 12 year olds.
@UKER F**k you! Britons don't have true freedom, and they suck, and still live under a monarchy. When you can say that your country gives you the right to be elected King or you are given the right to elect a King and Queen, then give me a call.
Re: J_HoLLy_wOOd –
Considering how much they pay in taxes they really aren't that "free" at all.
"abortion is the same as murder." And an orange is the same as a car. See? I can play that game, too.
Re: JuneGordon –
Of course you can play that game, you are quite typically amoral.
The best way to reduce the number of abortions in a region? Actually educating teens and youth about sex, sexuality, and birth control. Re: princesspeepee –
Really clueless one because isn't that what they are teaching now and bitches are STILL coming up pumped and plumped in massive numbers? You didn't see pregnancy statistics like the ones we have today prior to the Promiscous Revolution.
I think that it should be up to the woman, not the government to control what she does to her body.
Re: astewtee –
It was up to the woman BEFORE she spread it.
What if a woman's responsible, and the birth control fails?
Re: italianvenus –
There is the morning after pill. Shouldn't the onus be on a woman to take that as soon as possible as opposed to waiting until past the first trimester to axe her kid. I had a friend who was shacked up with her boyfriend for 10 years and she would get the Depo Provera shot every 3 months. In 10 years she never got pregnant and she claims they never used a condom. There is no "safe" sex except no sex. Using BC and condoms is "safer" sex but to suggest BC and condoms is "safe" sex is to give people a false sense of security.
Way to go North Dakota!!!

What are you, some Canadian wimp? Wherever you live, you foreigners who despise the US and are compelled to critique her should try living without us in your lives. The fact is, you're obsessed with American culture and have little to draw from your own. You aren't even proud enough to register which country you reside and here you are on an American site tossing in your 2¢ to run down this country.

Nobody is forced to read the Constitution “Honey” but one should know what you are talking about before taking it on. Of course I’m not from your country so maybe there it is customary to talk out of your ass.
You Are So Right this is just awful imagine not having the right to smash the head of a living thing and pulling it apart so that you can toss the pieces in the garbage like yesterdays pot roast. How awful they are to ban this beautiful operation brought about by cheap tramps who won't keep their nasty legs shut then KILL a living thing so they can get back to the party. Man America is really getting picky isn't it.

LOL! ROFL! BEST POST EVER!
Bitch, you just need a punch in the face and I'd love to be the one to do it.
Re: JuneGordon –
It is about time a state this this and took control of what is rightfully their duty to make decisions on. Abortion IS a state issue and always was until the Supreme Court said that it was a matter of privacy, making it a federal matter. This will most certainly bring to the court a case involving state rights, and it is about time! The Federal Government has no standing to make decisions about abortion…read the tenth amendment to the constitution and you can figure that out! It is an issue left up for the states to decide by themselves. ND has made a strong statement, whether the politicians on the Supreme Court will agree with it, now thats another story
Re: swd112083 –
Exactly.
Actually, you're wrong. States are bound by Supreme Court decisions. Take a look at the Constitution.
Re: Capedoll1183 –
Roe V. Wade was a classic example of Judicial activism and the resulting usurpation of the state's right to determine these kinds of laws for themselves.
IT IS CALLED FREEDOM OF CHOICE!!!!!!!!!
Re: FREEDOMOFCHOICE –
You had a "choice" BEFORE you spread it whorebag. And you feminazi love to use that buzzword of "choice" but let's really examine what that "choice" is…uh, murder, infanticide. If I want the "choice" to murder you should I just be allowed to murder you?
