Obviously, there is absolutely no excuse for what Chris Brown did to Rihanna. But I think it's important to remember that this attack probably didn't come out of nowhere. Coming from a childhood with violence myself, I feel like it's likely that Rihanna witnessed or was the victim of violence in her childhood. And now as an adult, she may carry a violent streak herself or allows others to harm her (repeatedly). I have personally been in the position several times where I could have pressed charges but never did. I'm older and wiser now, but when you are influenced at a young age by violence, it really screws up your perspective and self love. I pray that Rihanna and Chris and everyone under the sun with these issues find peace, resolution and change. The photo is horrible and it really sucks that it was posted because it's such a painful, private matter for the girl. But since it has been made public, the only bright side is that hopefully it will bring about awareness and positive change.

Same nose except that in this picture it's understandably swollen. Same nostril shape. Look at the lips. Although the lips are swollen (like yours would be too if you got popped in the face) the shape of the lips (especially the upper lip) is the EXACT same.
