Owen Wilson Suicide Attempt!!!!!

This is just incredibly shocking.
Owen Wilson's emergency hospitalization on Sunday was the result of a suicide attempt, The National Enquirer and Star magazine are exclusively reporting.
Sources tell the mags that Wilson sliced his left wrists and took an indeterminate amount of pills.
Wow. Wow. Wow.
Owen was discovered by a family member who summoned help.
Police and an ambulance responded to a 911 call from Wilson's house in Los Angeles around noon on Sunday.
Owen is said to be in stable condition at the moment.
This is hardcore.
Suicide is never a good option, kids.

"Owen Wilson has now been transferred from St. John's to another Los Angeles area hospital. His brothers Andrew and Luke are with him.
"Andrew found him after the suicide attempt and called an ambulance. Both of Owen's wrists were slashed superficially and Owen had taken an overdose of pills.
"Owen was found with a nearly empty bottle of pills next to him. He was at his house in Santa Monica."

Depression can hit anyone, rich/poor, famous/unknown. This does not mean "He is a mess", or "is f***ed up". In fact, these comments are the least helpful, because it causes those who suffer to mask their true feelings and the need for help. Many people suffer from depression and face thoughts of suicide… many who people may not even realize are suffering. Get well Owen, I am sending you love and blessings not matter what you do.

I know this might seem a little irrelevant, but last week, during my Film class, we were asked to list our favorite/least favorite movies, actors, genres, etc. When asked who my least favorite actor, I said Owen Wilson. I feel bad now =/ And, before getting online today and reading this, I started to watch The Haunting, which has Owen in it. WEIRD. After just a little bit of research about checking on Owen Wilson's health, I noticed that most other reporting has been confidential for him; I'm disappointed that this would be brought out by this website, as this may possibly be an extremely sensitive time for him, from what your website is reporting. However, I draw the line when you publicize anyone's suicide attempt. It is irresponsible and in really bad taste. In the case of Mr. Wilson, he may be a celebrity but putting an obviously distraught man under the glare of the media spotlight at such a precarious time in his life, is irresponsible. I thinks that he's LoveSick. Kate left her husband for him but he wouldn't get serious and commit. He couldn”t change his playboy ways and she moved on. When she didn't have anyone in her life he was having a good time in Europe with different women. Now that she's moved on and gotten into a serious relationship he decides that he don't want to live. Maybe he meant to kill himself or maybe he wanted her to come running to nurse him back to him. Being LoveSick can immobilize you, make you stop eating or caring for yourself. Sometimes you are so griefstrinken for your lose that you can't or won't move on. I hope he get well and he'll see that his heavy heart will get lighter with each passing day. The most sane person can go crazy for love.

Its shocking and I'm so sorry to hear this. My best friend growing committed suicide. she was also very funny and popular.I didn't have a clue that so would do anything like that, we were very close.
I really hope Owen gets some help and has people around him who love him to help him over this. He seems like an incredible person, so talented so funny and makes so many people happy. He is by far one of my favorites actors and i'm so glad he was not successful at suicide.

That is sad. To make light of such a situation is really shitty.
i lost an uncle to suicide, he attemted it once 2 weeks be4 he succeded, i was the one to walk in on him wit the gun to his head, I was 12 yrs old & from that incident i have P.D.S.D. (post dramatic stress.) not to mention severe anxiety. after it happened, my father blamed himself alot for "not bein there for him" along wit a few other family members. so from the ages of 12- about 17 i had to deal wit a father who was severly depressed who wasnt ever there for my softball games, family get togethers, or school functions. he finally sought professional help and is doing a lot better. but my family will forever remain changed. it was like torn apart after that… i miss my uncle very much.. i wish he knew how much we all cared bout him and how big of an impact he had on our family. he also left behind a 3yo lil girl and 2 11yo and a 15yo boyz… luckily my youngest cousin was not really effected by it (altho she does remember her daddy) but my 2 male cousins who are now 20 and 24 were severly effected by it. they refused counseling and eventually became drug addicts.. the oldest is a carrer crimainal who has spent double the time in jail since hes been 18 than out. SUICIDE IS NEVER THE ANSWER i always try to think of it as, if u think ur life is terrible, theres ALWAYS somebody out there who has it worse. imagine bein born into a third world country or bein born to a father who continually raped u for years, and nobody believed you.

OMG!! I found this out this morning and is truly truly very sad! About 3 years ago a close friend of mine committed suicide. No one ever saw it comming! I was only a freshman in highschool. She wrote a note and said that no one ever cared about her. It was completly false, everyone was devistated! It was the worst thing I have ever been through.
I really feel for Owen and his family. This is very very hard to deal with knowing that someone you love very deeply does not feel that way about themselves. Its terrible. I really really feel for him and hope he gets better! Hopefully he will see how many people really care for him and love him. I really hope he gets better.

Let's hope he gets better - jeez you would think he had the world in his hands, so carefree and funny- I guess everyone can fool the public if they try - must be a BIG cry for help- something he could not manage and was afraid to ask for help. Not like a Britney Spears, I have heard Own is very nice to work with and respects those around him.
