I do feel bad for the family, but this is a prime example of why not to speed or street race. Lesson learned to everyone who does this.
Hopefully his passenger won't die. If he does, will he be cured of the speeding/racing bug? Was he on 'roids, too? FYI most drivers of fatal accidents walk away (as Nick did); it's the passengers who suffer…Pray for this young man John & his family! Nick is as bad as Lohan.

I can't find any reports on his death……I don't think it's true. He IS STILL ALIVE. Reports are he was discharged from the hospital this morning, but, his passenger is still in critical condition.
If Nick was driving under the influence or racing he could have killed someone. Hulk you raised a good girl Brooke but Nick is another story. He's immature and I wish the family luck and a lot more therapy. Nick should not be driving a nice car like that until he learns responsibility. This is not the first car crash he has been in. Don't you think the Hogans should have seen this coming? I am not trying to be mean but what if he killed someone and worse yet it was one of your relatives?
This has made me so sad since hearing about it last night. I love this family, and I am praying for Nick and the other passenger. I am so sorry this has happened.

You can be the most careful parent in the world and teach your kids the best of the best, but in the end kids will be kids and yes, they do make dumb foolish decisions…some live and learn and some don't…Get over your self because I'm sure you and your own are FAR from perfect!
Some other websites are reporting that Nick was released from the hospital. Nothing on then name or condition of his passenger.
Nick appears to be a typical teenaged boy, with a love of cars and desire to drive fast. I can understand Hulk encouraging him to race on the the relative safety of professional track and not on the streets. I cannot forgive Nick for endangering lives on public streets, and I hope he is made to pay dearly for this stunt so that just maybe he will learn his lesson and learn to respect laws and human lives. Nick is behaving like a typical teen, and this should be a wake up call to his parents that maybe he needs more rules, boundaries and limitations like most kids his age have. I'm happy that he is ok, and pray that his passenger survives. I'm also thankful that they didn't kill anyone else with their stupidity. If this were my kid, he would be grounded until he turned 30!

THIS STUFF HAPPENS TO KIDS/ADULTS EVERYDAY in all types of cars. Whether its a Lamborgini, Corolla, or a motorcycle, ITS NOT FUNNY. This could happen to you, or a close friend/family member. Hopefully you'll remember that when your driving on a highway and you speed, or someone comes racing by you. NO ONE DESERVES THIS, no matter their financial or celeb status.

I'm hearing that Nick is fine…his passenger is in a trauma center and is NOT doing well. The only family I'll be praying for is the innocent boy's family. Not the spoiled brat who thinks he's a racecar driver who does'nt have a scratch on him. Oh well, with the celebrity justice going around these days he won't be charged with anything. Isn't that typical the driver always walks away?? If it were my son that was injured I would be delivering my own vigilante justice. What a spoiled little fuck driving a car like that at 17.

To everyone that is defending this kid, he was breaking the law. He seriously hurt himself and the other person in the car, and he's lucky he didn't hurt anyone else in this whole thing.

This is sad to see. Unfortunately, this is a hard lesson he has to learn on his own. I seriously doubt that he wasn't racing, since there is no way you can fuck up a car like that. A boy in my graduating class, the night before the end of our junior year, was street racing his friends and was driving on the wrong side of the road when a truck came in the opposite direction and hit him straight on.
Needless to say, he didn't make it, and it was very tragic, and it would be sad to see Nick do this.

Although I feel bad for him and his family, I simply can't believe that he -wasn't- street racing; there is no way that that car can get fucked up like that any other way. There was a kid in my graduating class who, on the eve of the end of our junior year, was street racing his friends and was driving in the other lane when he his a tractor trailer head on.
Needless to say, he didn't make it, and that in itself was tragic. This is a hard lesson Nick has to go through, and hopefully he'll learn from it.
I warned Nick about letting his boyfriends give him head while he's driving!

It has been confirmed - NICK is out of the hopsital and doing fine. His friend is still in a crtictical condition. I thought Nick was smarter than this, all the times he was warned about his abuse of speed - I hope this will be what it takes to give him a much needed wake up call about the dangers - but at the same time, I hope both victims will be 100% recovered soon and count their blessings.

Omg he lives in my neighborhood I drive by the spot he crashed everyday. My friends boyfriend lives right next door to his belleair house. We saw limos outside the other day so we all knew he was in town. That is so sad and scarry!

I've been there done that. . I am a youth with money, and quickily did I learn the errors of my ways. . At a certain point, a person has to take control of their and make some decisions. . Besides that car's fast, so why not prove so on a track, where safety would be better incorporated. . Like Paris and Nicky, this is truly his wake-up alarm. .

When - God when….will people quit racing!!!!!!!!! This makes me feel ill inside, and I am getting so sick of the pain these accidents are causing people. It is not COOL to race someone. Ego's are out of control. Of course my heart hurts for the families right now, for what Nick must be going through. Knowing his buddy is fighting for his life now. That is a horrible burden to bear. I pray God heals in this situation. And Nick will seriously be an advocate for not-racing. Maybe good can come from this and others will pay attention to what racing can cause. I just experienced two beautiful people die about 500 feet from my house, because they were racing another car and they spun out of control and into a tree. It should not happen!
